Your grammatical skills are pretty insane, too.

I am guessing the biggest issues for him and his motor would be in the valve train. I am sure he is running Beryllium Copper seats and whatever the latest greatest coating is now on the ti valves and probably tough met on the valve guides. Springs would be a big issue too. I bet they had fun in testing.

Thanks, geezer. Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Fellow noob waaayyy over in Bakersfield, I would bet if you include disasters during development, Barcia's "personal" heads end up costing multiples of thousands of dollars per copy. Just a guess.Grin

That's a good question but I think an even better one is how does he expect that riding style to transfer over to the big bike smoothly (no pun intended) and will he need to re-train himself?

He'll end up taking some serious lumps , maybe some broken bones along with it , until he learns to respect the bike. He is no more/less wild than what JS was.....and JS took his lumps for sure! He'll be just fine after a season or two on the big bikes....but he's gonna take a little pain until he does.

Does not know the meaning of "roll in" the throttle.

Kid is a toggle switch and uses the rev limiter as a very expensive version of the "shift light".

He will only improve once he settles down. The "big bike" might just help.

Not sure but I think they change the ignition to have a lower rev limit because of his style. Makes it sound worse than it is.

Barcia is an amazing talent. He simply does not know when to let off, and I mean that in a good way. He scubs jumps that aren't meant to be scrubbed and scrubs them well. Justin will go very far in this sport we all know and love.

Little while back this was dicussed. Someone said that the motors would go quite awhile held on the limiter.

He better have settled down before he hits the big bikes...

The 450s are not to be thrown like that or they tend to throw you off!!!

I think he's smart enough to know he does an excessive amount of unnecessary things on the bike. So I personally think he just keeps it up because of the positive attention he receives from his 'style'. Seriously, look at us here discussing / drooling over the fact he runs a bike so hard, when Christopher Pourcell's bike sounds twice as slow, yet routinely finishes ahead of the boy. That's my 2-cents.

If anybody's bike should have blown up at Southwick, it should have been this kids.

What do they do to his motors, you ask...

They put in bigger brushes!
