Yes, teammates have never gotten into it before in the history of pro motocross. I think they’ll be ok.5799DA44-574E-4FDA-9903-3B1C166BA592

ok, fair enough.  I hope Star doesn't say a damn thing too.  Settle it on the track.  Then let Jordan come out in any of the next races and totally clean Deegan out.  Rubbin is racing.  All good?  Tit for tat.  Turn about is fair play. Making enemies on the track isn't a good strategy if you want to win championships.

All the Deegan nut huggers better not be whining when Haiden gets put on the deck.  Its gonna happen.  Rubbin is racin.  Remember that.

He was certainly trying to.  Anybody with an ounce of MX common sense and not swinging from a Deegan ballsack can see what was going on. I say let this all play out on the track.  Star - don't say a word to either rider.  Let them settle it on the track.  Get some popcorn.  Remember, rubbin is racin.

I think it’s a little silly the amount of hate you have for the kid. Rubbin is racing, and if Jordan puts him in the cheap seats next race……. Welcome to big leagues. People are so hung up on his your team mate. They just pit under the same tent. Heat race wins pay a bonus as well don’t they? I just don’t think we have the same reaction if this was Thrasher and Jordan.

See that’s where most people aren’t going to agree. If the manager is telling you the team comes first that’s when you leave. They don’t pay a team bonus if someone from the team gets on the box. One person is getting the bonus. You think the team is telling Tomac not to be aggressive with Dylan. I personally think Tomac would respond with “ I’m winning, whatever it takes.”

Jordon got out raced, simple as that.

Jordon has been aggressive with the kid the whole season. Deegan is just earning some respect and laying down some boundaries.

And not getting into the main, 100% on Jordon.

I didn’t follow Deegan at all during amateurs, but I really like this kid. Aggressive, fit and will scrap for every last position.

Smith was a second a lap faster. In fact he was the fastest of both heats by a wide margin. He didn't need to knock anybody down. All he was trying to do was make a pass and not be taken out. WATCH the replay.

I guess it was Deegan that put smith on the ground the 3 times after that even when smith was in 4th after the Deegan run in. Doesn’t matter that Smith was a second faster then Deegan, he couldn’t keep himself off the ground all day even in free practice he was on ground. Maybe if he would of backed it down a second a lap and rode like a 29 year old that he is he would of made the main. Pretty sad when a 17 year old rookie is more consistent then a 29 year old rookie . That 29 year old was on the ground more in that one heat then Deegan has been all year

I think what we saw last night was the transition from “happy to be here and get experience”  to im 3-4 In points “ I’m ready to race with these guys”. Apparently jordy didn’t get the memo.

Way too much arrogance, attitude, and self-induced drama for a so far only regional SX race podium guy. History is full of the "Next Superstar" who didn't live up to expectations. Things haven't gotten tough yet; no injuries, relatively easy success (Podium) in a 4-5 rider deep regional class, maybe best factory level bike, maybe best team/facility, full power of Monster's media machine hyping you, personal Monster sponsorship money, Daddy's money / industry influence help, etc, etc.

It's obviously he has lot of growing up to do to avoid the curse of 250 SX guys who already believed they had made it. Wait until Dad can't control him anymore, prison Tat's, gangster rap video / social media influencer girlfriend, thinking a regional SX title means you have "Made It' already, idiot buddies' bad advice, 96-degree outdoor nationals going 8/12 for race after race, etc.

Isn't that the exact same post you put in another Deegan thread?......We get it you don't like the kid or his family....it's ok....

Deegan waited in a corner to tbone Smith and that's fine by most people here but Hunter blockpassed Thrasher at Daytona and that makes him a dirty little punk.

Deegan fanboys should go to the Olympics for mental gymnastics

Why does The Team come first?

SX is still scored individually last time I looked.

Everyone is mad at Deegan but what about Smith trying to send him into the cheap seats? I actually don't think Deegan meant to hit him after the whoops, just think he couldn't stop in time. Anyway Smith might as well hang his boots up now he's finished anyway, he's had his shot.

Rewatched the heat and it looked like they were both just going for it. I don’t think Deegan was out of line, it just got a bit heated.

RC was quick to call it out as way over the line for teammates, but curious to hear his take, in retrospect, on who he felt was to blame.

Smith went in hard in the last corner and basically took himself down is what I saw.

If I was team leader/ manager BOTH would have been told that team comes 1st, the time for crap like that is at practice track.  Definitely more bad PR with HDeegan.  Somebody needs to take the lead and be a 'mentor' in this part of his career - oh and def not dad!

Couldn't have said it better myself. Absolutely baffles me that some see this as acceptable or excusable on 238's end.

From the point of Smith don't you think as a VET he should have been smarter and never got into that position? You are playing cat and mouse with a 17-year-old rookie. I don't care if it's Hymas, Deegan, or Hawkins as a VET he should have been smarter than that.

I can see we are trying make "cat and mouse" the most overused phrase of all of racing by overtaking "race craft"

Decided to take a couple of days off and then go back and just rewatch it one more time. Deegan was just racing.
