Points lead…Quietly…he’s not the flashiest but he finds the podium…
the other guys should be worried. He’s not gonna run away but he’s gonna be there at the end…no doubt

Nothing to see here.... Roger called in some favors.
Webb is getting more dangerous as the season progresses.
Sexton has imploded....
His shit eat'n grin on the podium said it better than his words.
He's not my favorite, but his ability to just always be there is undeniable.
Same grin he had at the Anaheim 1 presser when asked about being put in the 2nd row.... "I'm washed up".
People been denying Webb for his whole career. Jazzed to see him proving them wrong....time after time.
Webb wins this year.

Amazing to see the polar opposite riding style in Webb and bam bam.
You can hear barcias bike screaming over the broadcast yet Webb never fades away
I was kinda thinking webb was gunna go all "bluetick coon dog" on bam bam but couldnt quite catch him.
webb playing chess while everyone else plays checkers.
Being at the race, I think Webb would’ve been as fast as anyone if he could get through the whoops. Although, it didn’t look like anyone had those whoops dialed.
^^^this^^^
Webb was fast but lost track position every lap through the whoops. They never quite turned to jumpers like they needed to for him to have a chance.
that shit eating grin on the podium is just epic
After spending many years living in North Carolina, that demeanor is totally North Carolina.
So would KTM choose Webb over the imploding Sexton now?
His team recently had a guy that was pretty good at winning titles. Rhymes with Shmyan Shmungey. They have the formula, consistent podiums (while everyone else has issues) win titles. It’s proven. It’s Coop’s to lose at this point imo.
He's riding exceptional, better than his championship years currently it's just that some other guys have gotten faster around him.
I find him just a fascinating rider, he's pushing his hardest atm.
"coops to lose"
I don't know how that's possible when theres 2-4 guys faster than him, he just took the red plate this weekend ffs ..
Eastern NC.
I’m corrected.
Right!!
Pit Row
The Assassin
Someone said chess.. I think Webb n tomac are at the chess table. Rest are checkers or wreckers..
I know Barcia had a change of heart this weekend and wasnt his overly aggressive self but out of all the riders he has seemed to give the most respect on the track to Webb. It could be due to Webb’s racing IQ and being able to play it smart but it’s definitely something noticeable.
“He cracked, I didnt”
He was so bad in those whoops. Still managed to hang in there…..
I respect him as a rider, but for some reason I just genuinely can't get myself to like the guy. Just seems like a shady little puke. 🤷♂️
At this point I'd 100% bet on him for the championship though.
can you explain that?
i thought moto was like an endurance thing, with fastest guy being the one who is fastest from the gate to checkers, at all the races... which then (seems to me) makes Coop the fastest so far.
what am i missin'?
Totally agreed.
Unless Tomac was hiding an injury last night, he went into chess (protect) mode because something wasn't clicking.
Sexton pushed it and paid the price.
This is a business cycle, Webb doesn't have many more years left and sexton is the young kid that can win as long as he stops the small crashes and with contracts up this is the time to sign him. In the next couple years alot of the top guys are gonna be gone an its gonna be the sexton an Lawrence Era
A lot of races Webb is right on Tomac's heels when he loses a race. He doesn't have Tomac's raw speed, but he's not far off. A lot closer than at least 22 other guys on the gate.
My interpretation of Webb is he doesn't like a whole lot of attention and that plays into the way he conducts interviews. He isn't afraid to call a spade a spade, doesn't wordsmith answers a lot. His comment about "he choked I didn't" is a prime example. He's also critical of himself when he loses. It's 100% the truth but the world has conditioned us to not speak exactly what's on our mind so it's atypical. I appreciate Webb for that exact reason.
He's kind of shifty, but I think he is genuine. To thank God after every race is pretty solid, I don't think he does that because his parents make him
