Chase has proven that being a second faster than everyone in qualifying means fuck all for him, though. When hasn't he looked good?

Mind boggling how freakin fast these guys are. So gnarly.

They decided to sit him out tonight. Had a crash yesterday. 
 

I was looking forward to seeing him out there too. 

Oh but he's going to be ok if 15 guys pass him.  Got a feeling his mindset may have just changed.

On that split section turn, can you hop from the outside to the inside? That’s not “cutting” the track is it? 

Do you mean his confidence has increased? If so, I agree. 

The pros have always been faster than us mortals.  I remember watching Marty, Roger and the boys from the fence...just dumbfounded at the speed.  The bikes and riders have progressed so much it's incredible.

Kenny .5 faster than the rest of the field except for Chase has to be the surprise of qualifying. And RJ.

That didn't look good for Freddie, hope he is ok..

Definitely improved but man I can’t pick him for the W tonight. Maybe I have rocks in my head, it’s Daytona, but it looks like he’ll be lucky to podium.
