You should make a thread about it.

I have observed a pattern that when Eli comes up on a major record, he has little trouble tying the record, but seems to struggle to break it.   Tied Reed  after winning five straight races then couldn't win another race until next year.

It could be that way with tying RC's SX wins.  Time will tell.

Well, he tore his MCL right after he tied Reed's record.

Will JS7 give him a Stew if he does a race recap?

I don't think anyone is touching MC's record. Not now, maybe not ever.

I kind of thought someone would go over table to quad into corner. I sat on that side for qualifying and seemed like they would check up slightly to land on top. But the quad out would have been super sketchy....

No sweat. Was happy to be sitting there to see it. Seeing him do it the first lap around eas just as sick as the 4th.

Tomac already seems a bit burnt out. The confort zone of Sexton and Webb is better. He is getting old and it start to show. Daytona will tell. I don't trust in the new Yami yet either. Bike is better everywhere but whoops. When I saw him at Bercy trough the whoops, I get it directly. He will have some crashes too in outdoor. Stampe it. Way more volatile bike than the very stable pig. Like RC said, this is uncharacteristic compared to the last year. New bike is always a struggle.

Ya he probably signed up for outdoors and the playoffs because he’s already burnt out

Tomac said himself that he was 90% done of racing still a few weeks back but the purse has talking and a kind of last purpose I presume. If Tomac himself said that, that's means that he knows that the tank will be empty soon. I m affraid to see Tomac be toast at some point for some reasons as the season goes on. I don't think we will see the old beast mode again. Nothing wrong with that. Tomac right now, is a new kind of rider. He is a veteran and he is smart like a veteran but I don't think that the tank has enough fuel to battleing hard a full MX/SX season again. Could be wrong of course. If Tomac is straight beat at Daytona, it'll mean that Tomac is done.

Maybe you think a threesome would be better?

I'd rather be in a threesome than a gang bang almost any way that you paint it.

I was thinking the same thing, but the pocket after that table was so small...the transition would have been super abrupt.

There's a reason the word "Vitard" was coined.

I was going to say the exact same thing. The booter coming out of the corner was badass btw! Thanks for that Jeff!

Yes, Yamaha wanted an answer from him, but he didn't sign just to relieve stress. He's happier than he's ever been. He's always been cautious when he isn't comfortable.

Its a bumpy road coming up mate. Let's hope for good racing and the Championship decided at the last race.

Awesome! You would think the production crew or announcers would have picked up on that….

They did, though! They showed Tomac doing it nearly every lap he did it and RC pointed out when he cased the first double how it was a different line than what everyone else was doing. They even caught Kenny trying it. I’m always confused when people say stuff like this as if there isn’t video proof…

Tomac has been disappointing lately. I understand he’s still the points leader. But damn I keep waiting for beast mode every time Sexton passes him. Almost seems like he’s hiding an injury or he isn’t there mentally.

Eli's slowing. It's been apparent since last outdoors.

It's one reason why Sexton looks better than he is. Another reason might be no fit Ferrandis, OD at least.

My take and I'm not the only one, was the US MX mafia were rather worried he was going to sign a WSX contract, possibly with CDR, whose bikes are as good as what he's on. He made it very clear he wants to travel and chill, not grind.

Gonna be interesting to see his levels.

It could be that way with tying RC's SX wins.  Time will tell.

This aged well.
