I think Paulin will be awesome on that track on a 450, I think his size hampers him on the 250f... former BMX world champ he can jump!

paulin is training in italy and he's fast with the 450

haha love to see this happen
go aus!
It wouldn't bother me a lot, and Metty and Byrner could use a break and have a day without some weird incident getting in the way of their talent.

MX1 Cairoli, Dungey Reed, Desalle
MX2 Musquin, Rattray, Weimer
MX3 Ramon, Philli, Paulin

Man the race sounds good!!! Can't wait for the saturday results! Remember MXDN always brings some big surprise...

Edit: Forgot about RD ok added now... little hint is when Tedesco said he felt like a novice on that practice track. The track might be SX style but it will remain hard pack, full of dodgy ruts with bad watering. I think it won't be a track that benefit the AMA riders afterall

It´s either that or Iceland sweeps all classes. Wink

Pretty sure I read/saw that they were gonna make the actual MXdN track quite loamy... but watch this space I guess. I could be wrong.

People have spoken.

MX1 Picks
Reed - 6
Dungey - 3
Cairoli - 2
Desalle - 2
Nagl - 1
MX2 Picks
Musquin - 10
Wilson - 2
Weimer - 1
Searle - 1
MX3 Picks
Philliparts - 6
Bryne - 3
Ramon - 3
Tedesco - 1
Gautier - 1

Soo, reed, musquin, and phillipaerts are the obvious favorites.

I'm surprised not that many of you guys picked cairoli.. since he DOMINATED the gp's with ease this year.

Musquin is acceptable, but i still think weimer and metty have something for him.

I think IT will win MX3, he has the experience. and i dont think phillipaerts will beat ivan, ivan also beat bryne consistantly this year soo why would mxdn be any different? paulin gautier will be fast..

lets hope everything goes well! GO USA!! =D

Well, Cairoli is actually not 100% (knee problem)...
10/2/2009 11:17am
his knee will not be a problem.. he only doesnt have to go down on the first lap like he did in many MXDN..

I agree that Wiemer and Metty will have something for Musquin but it's tough to predict against the most confident guy in the class. The fact that Musquin has won pretty much at will the last half of the GPs makes me believe his confidence has peaked at the right time for this event. MM has had so much adversity this year with changing teams, court battles and even having to miss a GP and has come out winning through all of it. He never let any of that shit change the fact that he was going to win the mx2 title. I think without CP and RD in the class MM will have all the confidence.

My final prediction had the podium countries right just reverse 3-2-1.. lol And I never changed my top 3 from mx1 mx2 mx3. I thought Belguim would of done slightly better as a team though.. They were hampered w/horrible starts all day though..
