What happened to him in the main event. Looked like a top 5 start, then two laps later he was done. I was excited to see how he would do with such a good start.

It looked like maybe his shoulder/arm/wrist? Looked like when he rode out of the tunnel his was favoring a limb? It was tough to see from the press box but that’s what it looked like. He never went down.

Yes it was a motocross superpole lap.

I think he was 1st rider out on his warm up lap. And jumped a tabletop and there was a positrack still on track and he crash into it.

Pretty sure his injuries were only minor.

I think he was 1st rider out on his warm up lap. And jumped a tabletop and there was a positrack still on track and he crash into it.

Pretty sure his injuries were only minor.

His injuries from that were not minor - resulted in a broken leg, broken ribs, broken wrist and damage to one of his retinas.

Was hoping Old Mate would chime in here. Matt was riding so dang good last night. I was cheering for that dude to get into the top 5 - 10. I couldn't believe how good he looked in qualifying. Hope what ever injury he sustained is minor. Would love to see him back out there.

You can just see it happen in the background- lap 1 in the rhythm lane before the finish. The one plenty had difficulties with.
