Hey guys,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a product that either lowers the KTM's foot peg height, or is somehow a lower peg itself?
I like to run a mid bar bend as opposed to a high bend (Renthal 996) just because of enhanced feel and precision in the front. But after riding my mates Honda, the chassis felt like the pegs were situated a little lower and a little further back giving me ample room to move around the cockpit, especially in ruts and turns.
I'm 6'1" and stocky build, the Austrian bikes are a little cramped although very nimble.
I've been on Austrian bikes for the last near decade now after growing up on Honda's. Out of convenience due to accumulated parts, I've been hesitant to go back to the Japanese 450's but after riding my buddy's bike, right away I was considerably quicker on a bike that wasn't even set up for me (I feel like this is purely chassis, my KTM suspension is awesome)
I'm an A grade guy who does mainly desert and offroad but I have an SX450 for some motocross when I can.
Any tips would be awesome

On my current husky, I was quite lucky and snagged a set of custom raptor titanium 10mm back and 5mm lower and it really does make a difference enough not to bother with the taller seat.

I am 6'4 run -5 down -5 back, and a tall seat foam. If you hit up youtube and watch many factory bike reviews, they all are running some variant of back or back and lower, and most 827 fat bars ( fairly high bar) with custom clamps, farther forward, centered over the fork tubes So the argument it messes up the chassis is prob a moot argument. For all the money we spend on the bikes today, what's a few hundred more to try something, and if it does not work, sell them
Flo also makes a 12mm lower peg. I put them on my fe 501 and am really happy with them.
