Doesn't seem like there is much hype for San Diego. All I've seen is a post saying MM25 is out with a wrist injury. Are they doing press day?

Not sure why.

Because the track is soft. They need to let the dirt set up. It rained again last night and I imagine that did not help.

It's a damn good thing nobody in charge can figure out how to "Grow the Sport" or no one could afford to watch it.

$65 is cheap to watch the superstars of sport,. Assuming you dont attend. Nba,nfl. Etc games. Try sitting courtside for $65. 3 hr event aint happening ,. Concert tickets. Lower level big $$. Sx mx is cheap compared to those i listed.

In today's marketplace of entertainment it is cheap.  I just paid $70 bucks apiece for Dallas tickets.  They had cheaper tickets but they weren't worth having.

Having said that...I'm in a position now to afford those prices.  If I was married with 2 kids...making $20 bucks an hour...no way I could consider it "cheap".

And another cheaper option is $5 a month. To. Watch.

Got an email saying it’s sold out. I’ll be headed down early, looking forward to the good weather and hopefully a perfect track. Let’s grab a beer.

wow, track looks unrideable. So much rain in San Diego! The people who live there and saying it would be fine are clueless.

Weege said on the Weege Show that they pulled out all the Monster Jam dirt and brought in new dirt.

Pretty much figured Snap would sell out as it only holds 35,000 people. Seems odd they would move to this stadium with such a strong moto scene down in the San Diego area.

Maybe the cost of the downtown stadium exceeded what they would have made with the extra seats.

Selling out a 35000 seat stadium for SX isn't anything to write home about.        This race should have been at Petco downtown especially given the heavy moto crowd here in San Diego....

Petco holds 42,445.  Maybe the profit margin on 7,000 seats was less than the difference in cost between Petco and Snap?  I can't guess why they wouldn't have done Petco if that wasn't the case, but maybe Petco said no.

Should be a better pit experience.

One thing better than Petco will be the parking. Massive lots on site

They just have a game where they try to be the first one to flip each other off each weekend.

In almost every single way that was a better experience than petco. Petco is a nice stadium, but having SX downtown was garbage. The fan fest situation was awful down there. Plus, in my opinion, baseball stadiums suck for SX tracks.

If i never have to go downtown to watch supercross again I'll be a happy moto fan.
