Amazing debut on his 450 career. Quietly his riding doing all the talk.

Quiet ride for sure. Don't think he was even mentioned once during the main.

Started 8th and finished 6th. Pretty solid.

I made $20 off Colt beating Craig tonight! Good ride for him.

I've been  pumping his tyres all pre season.

Not a suprising result to me.

He’s consistently getting good starts so far too, which is half the battle. I hope he can find a full year deal, he certainly deserves it and I’d hate to see him go SX only so soon.

He's a better SX rider so an SX-only deal would suit him perfectly like Brayton.

Considering he broke both of his arms at this race a year ago, you gotta think he was riding at 75% just trying to finish the race and build from there.  Solid ride.

Yeah, I suppose you’re right. I admittedly have a bias towards motocross so I would just like to see everyone in the states race both series while they’re at their best, as long as they’re making money in the process.

Luckily the WSX exists now so you’re right, he could race all year long with the right deals and make some money in the short period of time that is a motocross career.

Structured properly he could race AMA SX, WSX, and then head to Australia before starting all over again stateside the following year. Add in off-season events like Paris, and he could make pretty good money.

He's also turning 29 in March.

I'm a fan of both guys, and I'd bet their speed is very, very close.  Both could podium with the right circumstances.

Good for Colt. He didn't take himself out. Not a bad start for him!

The bike and gear combination also ruled.

I think it is fair to say that he exceeded everyone’s expectations.  Great debut ride!

Pretty sure he's still with Reynard.
