Agreed! I was just going to say it’s just insane to see him look so effortless while running up front. Every lap looks like a parade lap yet he’s clearly way faster than everyone else. Incredible!

Be interesting to see if RJ can clean up his mistakes this year.

The wheel tap before jumping the whoops looked nuts.

Jett looks bored out there, the way he casually looks over on the table over the start line.

That’s what happens when you are racing a class lower than you should be

Dude even if you have to chop throttle, just play it safe for a lap or two.... damn that sucks to see.

Yup. He wants it too bad.

What’s Jett ding with his right foot

Letting it dangle, it's the new way of riding. You watch, the young kids will start doing it at the local tracks now.

Jett sure is learning SO MUCH working these guys. Good thing he’s not 450

He’s got 10+ years to race in the 450s. I don’t see the need to rush him into that class when this is the last year he’s eligible for this class. Even RC has said he thinks this was the smartest move for them to do with Jett.

I think this is the best way to keep riders in this sport longer. Whether it’s because of less burnout/more fun or less injuries due to moving up too quickly or a combination of both. There’s a force out rule and he’s following them. Great ride for the kid. I mean his age still has ‘teen’ in it! The 450 class is not short of talent and he has the rest of his racing career after this SX season to race it. Let ‘em have this victory lap, I say.

Hampshire's lap times are on par with Jett.

Which one of these classes tonight is the premier class? Care to enlighten me? Is it the class that races all 17 rounds?

Why are you all so concerned with keeping him down racing guys like Oldenburg and Hampshire? Don’t you want to see him race the big dogs?

100%. He should have let off when he started drifting right and was off balance. That was boneheaded.

Jett is like the perfect mixture of McGrath and Stefan Everts. Effortless, precise, flowing.

Fast
