Nobody that supports the trans community goes as far to say this should be normal, unless they're so far out out there as to not be taken seriously. And those folks exist on both sides of the argument. If you stray too far from being a moderate liberal or conservative, you're going to have to listen to the kooks at some point. I'm sure you'd find someone that might support this guy whole heartedly, but that's going waaay too far out on the ledge for the majority of people. Same goes for the folks on the right that use this oddball example to say all trans people are perverts and paedophiles.

I assume they're trolling the left, but that's my assumption based on a look at the pictures and headlines in this thread. I don't know enough about this story to say what's going on. I do know enough about it to know it has zero effect on me or mine, so I'm not going to get worked up about it as so many seem to love doing.
I think that we can all agree that this is bizarre behavior. It's so far over the top that it is difficult to remotely take it serious.
But it brings up a decent philosophical question; if this person is only doing this for attention, would that be worse than if they sincerely felt that this was a (again bizarre) representation of themselves? If this is the sort of behavior that people are worried about, why would it be remotely okay to do this in front of the kids in order to 'own the other side'?
