They're badass ! We're going back for the 10-1-22 round I'm hooked. Here's the highlights from Saturdays main event.

I watch more Sprint car and Late Model stuff on You Tube than anything else, proper racing.

Nothing like it here in the UK.

Man, that sucks for your buddy and I hope heals up quickly. I do have to ask though, what the hell is a PawPaw? In the south, it’s a grandfather. lol

Bummer about your friend. As an older dude ( turn 60 tomorrow ) I can vouch for the dangers of being up in a tree. I feel much safer risking it on the motorcycle or mountain bike. Crazy how you hear about dudes that push their limits getting hurt around the house 🤷‍♂️ I better play it safe and leave the ladder in the shed and pull out my mountain bike. Good thing I have an understanding wife 😂

It's called Pawpaw here in SA but other countries may call them something else like Papaya or poor man's banana.

Christo is a tough bastard, I spoke to him earlier and he was buzzing on the pain shot they gave him and he was taking hits on his vape. His biggest concern was that he needed to take a dump but as his leg was in traction he reckoned best to wait for the morning (after the Op) He went in at 18h00 for surgery and it's 21h08 now, so I'm guessing the mechanics have fixed him.

Anyways, here a couple pictures of Pawpaw.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Rawly and all the best for the year ahead. I try not to think if getting old, my next bday is 53...it sucks and I'm already feeling the ol bag of bones, especially in winter.

Back in the day , we used to ride out to London on a summer friday night, it was pretty much 100 miles each way, leave at 9pm ish, arrrive around 11pm, at Chelsea Bridge, where all the cruisers hung out, then back across Tower Bridge, along the embankment , past Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament (Our version of the Capitol Building in DC) and then back home.

So this particular friday, i had a buddy up for the weekend, as i am getting married on the saturday, i say goodbye to my bride to be , around 7pm , and we hit the village pub at 7.30pm , just as the guys all roll in after a local ride out.

Most of them will be at the wedding the following day, and we already did our stag weekend 2 weeks before, so the plan to have a quiet night was going well until someone at about 8.30 said 'Chelsea Bridge?'

Everyone looks at each other, and then at me, i say 'no way ' .. and my buddy, who has never been says ' whats that then' .

Fast forward to an hour later and we are halfway there , group of 10, my buddy on pillion on my 750 Honda, wearing my Wife;s leathers and helmet ( he is a small dude)

After a burger and a cup of tea on Chelsea Bridge, we head back and it starts to drizzle, my mate tries in vane to wheelie across that bridge, but he just spins up, and as its close to midnight , we stop for a photo under Big Ben.. this is pre digital camera, but one of the guys has a small camera.

As we sit on the pavement under the Tower , trying to get an angle, with the clock on , which was near impossible, the guy who didnt manage a wheelie decides to do a huge burnout, and covers all of us in smoke, which seemed like a good idea at the time, but as the smoke clears we were surrounded by armed Anti-Terror police, as apparenly this was a 'no go ' area , after a spate of attacks in the capital.

It was only some fast talking by one of the guys that was with us , that stopped us all getting carted off by the Police , when he told them i was getting married and the other guy was the Best Man..

It rained all the way back, we arrived back at 2am, and got up and i got married.

My story isn't nearly as cool.  My buddies and I stopped in the middle of Westminster Bridge, on the way to see AC/DC at the Hammeo, and pissed off the side.  1978 so not crowded back then.  Yes, I was a punk.Blush

I saw them at the Cambridge Corn Exchange back then.  I followed Angus into the kazi.  He was still playing.  A roady unzipped his shorts...pulled out his tally whacker and Angus pissed mostly on the wall.  He went back on stage with his business still hanging out.  Nobody noticed cause Bon was getting a blowjob center stage...never missed a beat.  Yep, I'm a fan.

That was a great time to be in London, i was too young to be in London back then, and i was too into my racing to have any time for music.

A guy at work saw AC/DC at his local hall , in 1976, when they first started out.

I finally saw them in 2002, we were having a beer at lunch, and they were playing at Milton Keynes Bowl, doing a soundcheck. I asked who was on, and my mate said it was AC/DC, he said he could get us in if we wanted to go , as his brother was head of security, so we rolled up 5 mins before they came on, saw them and snuck out the back way , all for free. Bloody excellent gig.

Props to Buzz, you don't mess with badass old guys like Buzz. Especially this younger generation of sensitive, emo pu$$ies thinking their words won't have any consequences. Well this fruit learned a lesson that day. I just wish there was a better video of him clocking that twink. God bless you Buzz. Nice to see we still have real men around that don’t take anyone's shit.
