Can Jett do what others haven't...

And win 4 250 titles in a row ? I remember they made a big deal about Osbourne trying, but he got hurt outdoors and only got 3, as have many others. Impressive if he can and no one else has been able to.

It would be disappointing if he doesn’t win imo. If he doesn’t crash himself out he should pretty easily.

Looks to me like he’s gonna grab the title again without too much trouble. Really looking forward to seeing him on a 450 full time, he’s got the potential to be a multi time champ.

I sure hope he does . I find it amusing when people call professionals sand baggers and make entire threads about it.

I am not so sure he is going to crush it like everyone seems to think, including the media.  I may be wrong, but this is nothing like Stew winning by 45 seconds and almost lapping the field.  He is unreal talented, but also has some real competition to deal with.  I hope there is some great racing on both coasts and would love to see Forkner and/or McAdoo give him a fight.

Anything is possible in this sport.  A girlfriend distraction or injury changes a fella.  Having said that...Jett has already shown phenomenal skill and desire.  He should win a bunch...for a number of years to come.  Too early to say legendary status but he's headed that direction.

Jett is the favourate and should have his competition covered but we all know how quickly things can derail.

Levi Kitchen is going to rise into the next big thing and I'm looking forward to the future battles between him and Jett.

5 more days boys...the damn wait is almost over.

I think Jrey2 is still butt hurt over the finish line incident between Forkner and Jett.

Banging bars and punting at A1 will be detrimental to anyone's championship....not a good idea and I doubt Forkner want to build a rep like Barcia has.

Jett has incredible talent, but he's not the only one.

Forkner has the speed. If not for the finish line crash last year, I believe there would've been some great battles.

Also, you never know when someone is going to find their groove and reach the next level.  It happened for me my last year of baseball.  I'm still working on it for Motocross Smile .

I'm a Jett fan for sure, but to give him the title before the first gate drop is silly.

Jett is West right? I have not yet seen the entry list but I assume Forkner is also West? And Levi Kitchen?

Forkner and McAdoo are West.

This post lists all we know so far about who's riding where.

“4 x 250 titles on the bounce”

isn’t this just a worthless stat?
Wouldn’t a lot of the greats achieved this if they’d stayed in the 125/lites/250F class and not moved up to the 250/450 class?

Actually no. Unless they stayed in a lot longer. Jett is only staying in half a season/ 1 series longer.

Others like RV won 3 in a row. Lost a series then won mx and moved up the following year. To have a chance at 4 in a row he would have had to race another 2 seasons.

Rc won 3 in a row. Then raced 250/450sx. Then dropped back to 125 mx and won.

James won mx then sx. Lost mx. Then won sx and mx that season and moved up to 450s. So James only ever won 2 in a row.

There are always misarable idiots around but i just can't understand why people are negative regarding Jett.

- He is actually backing up the hype, so you can't argue or talk him down in this department.

- The guy is literally one of the frendliest in the paddock

- Does a lot of fan interaction and makes himself available for fans (sure he is benifitting of it too but no other riders does it).

- The riding itself is superb, a joy to watch!

The first point is the biggest mystery for me, I 100% understand when people get tired of various riders large hype because they haven't actually performed to the hype yet. But that has never ever been the case with Jett. The guy delivers. So i have such a difficult time to figure out where the negativity comes from with some people.

Some of you would let Jett bag your wives it sounds like. What a hornets nest.

I don't like either of them because they're low class grifters. Most notable when they explicitly said they were going to employ brother tactics on Craig so that Hunter could try to win a championship when he was clearly second that year. The lawrence ball handlers will cope and make up an excuse. I also have immunity from further attacks because I own the donut goggles, right?

not a millennial, not in my moms basement. not all young people are losers, despite the abysmal conditions older people stewarded the country into.

Anyways, back on topic: i like austin. He's a hometown guy and I can identify with him. I hope he does great and puts a cork in the lawrence worship. I still like Jett a whole lot and hope he has a great season, win or lose.

Sign me up as a fan of Jett.

My $.02 opinion: His greatest strength right now is the amount of time he's been healthy and racing. Dude has a ton of seat time and has been able to do nothing but improve.

If he stays healthy, the title is his to lose. Hoping Forkner provides some entertainment in keeping him honest. As well as Quackers. But McAdoo has a history of hitting the dirt too often. Would be cool to see a 3 way battle, but I still think Jett will be the fastest out of these 3.
