This season he has had a good go at the championship - and established himself as one of the worlds most most fastest / intelligent / technical racers.
All after coming back from near crippling injury!
I look forward to seeing him race in the future.

Really too bad about the blown motor. Christophe is amazing. He and Dungey are going to go at it like this for the next 10 years.

It would be interesting to go back and watch all the races to find out how many times Dungey ran Chritophe down and caught up to him and/or passed him and visa versa. Also, how many times have they started together say in the top 2 or 3 and was either able to run the other down and win?

There are other stats such as fastest qualifier, fastest lap of the race or average time in a race. Fastest is a hard statement to qualify really..They both have looked fastest on several occasion's to me.

I can only remember one time for certain that they both ran one and two with RD out front with CP giving chase. RD spanked him and eventually CP crashed trying to run his pace. That was Millville, RD's home track which i am sure RD was pushing the limits and CP wanted to beat him as his home track more than anywhere else, it was a great race!

Maybe CP is the NEW hole shot king??Smile Smile

X2. Gave us a great series, with one of my favorite, smooth, effortless looking styles out there. And to come back from what he did with his injury is a huge inspiration to me for sure. I also love his honesty in how he said a few times over the season that Mitch knows he still is a little scared since his horrible crash, yet, is still out there pushing it all the way.

Great Job, can't wait to see you ride SX. Win the west, then go for the 250f national, then the 450f national. We as fans will be set for years to come. haha

Not bad for a guy battling health issues.

Shame he lost the title to a mechanical, but that's racing. There's always next year.

No reason for him to go back to the GP. He loves it out there and wants to win in SX. This is just the beginning guys!

Congrats to him he did awesome and was great to watch ride. Someone elsewhere mentionned when he made an appearance in the Bercy SX. He looked very very weak and and very far from being able to do any sports. Amazing character he said when down he wouldn't come back racing if it wasn't for the win in the US and he was almost there. I think he's only weak point this summer was not going through the pack fast enough sometimes. Remember he had some health issue at the beginning of the season.

Now lets hope he gets a good ride maybe 250FSX and 450F outdoor on Honda? Gets his shoulder fix and stomach issue sorted and gives us an amazing outdoor season next year with RV, MA, JG

Great riding all year. I like Dungey a lot, but I think that was the first and last time he beats Pourcel for a championship. Pourcel lost, but he can hold his head high..

I admit I wanted RD to win at the start of the season but after watching CP ride and his calm demeaner I was equally excited to see him each round. They battled very hard with the nod to CP in the end if not for the mechanical. Ryan rode great but CP was all but in the books but that's racing. I give respect to both and the whole class for racing hard. There should be a throw away round like in a lot of the amatuer series.

Sure glad he raced here this year, amazing rider to watch and the difference between his and RD's style just made it better to watch.

He's the champ in my eyes too. Is an awesome story. To be that fast with any weakness or health issues is ridiculous. Just wish he was moving up to the 450's next year! He says he rides them better..
