Nice to see Vital bring someone on board with experience in the industry. Hopefully he is doing the majority of rider interviews.

His title should be Content Manager/Pop Culture and Music Guru.   Laughing

Great addition and I look forward to more MXGP content which I truly don't keep up on enough.

I'm so glad that Lewis's dream of moving to the US has come true and I hope to meet him in person at a race this season.

So, if that's the case I'm happy for Lewis. He's legit and is not a slimy media hack scum bag. He works hard. But I must say if i can be selfish, THIS SUCKS!!!! MXVISE podcast with James Burfield and Lewis is AWESOME. I have learned so much about MXGP and have enjoyed the banter with those two so much. MXGP can be boring compared to the US Nationals but those two really help you follow the GP riders and teams from the race reviews and series information. And Matthes could learn a lot by listening to the MXGP post-race interviews . heh

Sounds like a great addition. Hopefully he does not take part in the now standard closed loop industry reporting on this side of the pond.

2022 has been quite the busy year for Vital MX and I'm very pleased to be closing out the year with another addition to our staff, with someone that a majority of our viewers already know from his excellent work covering the sport but from the other side of the pond. Lewis Phillips makes his official start today as our new Content Manager and will be making the trek over to the US shortly for the upcoming Supercross season. While Lewis is no stranger to covering racing over here, this will be the first time we get to see his content from every single round as he converts from traveling and covering the full MXGP circuit for the last eight years, to making his way to every Supercross and Pro Motocross race instead. However, MXGP won't go by the way-side as Lewis will also be increasing Vital MX's coverage and insight into the World Championship as well.

Lewis is already semi-regular on the forum and you'll be seeing him chime in on various topics. We're also very excited for the new content ideas we're putting in place that Lewis will head up and be bringing to us all to enjoy. His enthusiasm for the sport is nearly unmatched, which is reflected by his work and list of new ideas. If you need to reach him, his new contact is LPhillips@VitalMX.com

ML, please tell us there are going to be vlogs...Lewis and Darkside living together for a month in the Vital house.

Like ML said, I'll still be on top of the MXGP scene. Got something lined up with Herlings and Seewer is always there!

I see someone gave you a downvote, don't worry! Woohoo

I'd like to say that person was just poking fun, but you never know around here...
Anyway, congratulations, and welcome to Vital and the USA!

Love to see it!

Got one of my MX Vice tees on now, from the fine folks at Even Strokes 👍

So, Lewis, will you be leading a riders strike here at a US round like to did in MXGP earlier this year? As the official MXGP rider spokesman to Giuseppe, will you also have direct access to Feld and MX Sports?🤪

Too soon?!?!?!

I love Lewis.

I’m waiting on my opportunity to travel to the races and report on them.

For those of us who have never heard of him- Can you share a bio?

Not sure of a bio, but surely Lewis's previous involvement in MX / journalism says a hell of alot.

One thing I can say, is that I raced at the sametime as his father, often the same regions and clubs; absolutely superb rider his Dad was.... he was as fast as you like.

Could run with the very best guys here in the nationals in the youth classes and that was no mean feat.

Still remember those days, his Dad was super fast and can understand how Lewis is now so involved in Mx, credit to him and his super MX family.

Lewis aint no stranger to MX, he and his family been involved for years!

So look forward to Lewis's input to vital.Smile

He did way better than I did on naming the artist/songs...

Wow, too cool. How awesome is it that VitalMX helped Lewis realize a childhood dream?

Is Steve Mattes paying Vital to remove all podcast competition?

Will Lewis do a podcast still? I seriously love the MXVice podcast and it makes me sad thinking that it may not continue in the same capacity. As bittersweet as this move feels for me, I can't imagine what the decision was like for Lewis. I look forward to all of the future content!

Steve can have Saturdays with Coldenhoff. Jeremy and Lewis are too funny to split up.

I barely watched any MXGP but I always listened to the JB/LP podcasts that were indeed awesome.
Was that actually banter though ? - such cutting comments were being thrown around !  Will miss them.

Saturdays with Seewer will live on! I think we are going to do it live on Instagram every week.

I want to do the same with Jonass! I need to keep interviews with them going, no matter what.

British humour, haha! I have a very, very, very dry sense of humour.
