Building this bike for my Dad. He’s had the bike for about 15 yrs.

Has it been hard finding parts?

Sweet bike! I had a 1977 RM 370A and that was such a fun bike to ride back in the day it would Wheelie for ever, one of those I would have liked to have back of 20 I have owned over the years.
Here’s a little update. I’m having the backgrounds re-printed because the yellow didn’t match. Waiting on the vintco air shocks. The shocks on the bike are temporary. In the process of fabricating some parts to make the rear brake work with the 78 swingarm.
Sweet, I had Klemm bore and port mine, just got new cases for it and all new gearbox, crank and kickstart parts. Now I need to clean and paint the frame and reassemble.
Awesome! Post pics of it
This was the bike to own in '76. If you have never ridden one they are light, handle decent and produce ridable, enduro like power that outshines the 125 and 250.
You Dad is going to love it.
Great job on the bike!
Is the ignition coil zip tied on?
No It’s bolted with a bracket I made. I put a piece of rubber between it and zip tied that. I didn’t know what to expect as far as vibration. That is a NOS mototek ignition my dad had.
Hoping Santa brings my shocks
Pit Row
Shocks came in today.

I did a 77 RM250B a few years ago....you can see in bike check here.
Really like that brake stay arm!
If you or your dad rides this, I would really like to hear what you think about those shocks.
