I just use the Scott Laminates. Haven’t tried rippoffs, but I’m sure they’re solid

It's hard to do tearoffs wrong. I've only ever used the non-laminated ones from the brand of goggles I wear, but at least I've heard of Ripoffs brand.

I do not race anymore, getting a little old for it but still use tear offs. I cut the tab off one and put over my lens so it doesn’t get scratched and then one tear off just in case I need one. I’ve never tried the laminated tear offs. Supposed to be a little clearer from what I read. But I think they cost a little more. No more than I use it wouldn’t matter. Stack to many tear offs and things get blurry. The other day at the track I thought the lens in my Fox main goggles were blurry, then realized I didn’t have my glasses on LOL!!!

Operated by the Temmerman family, along with Mika Metals and DT1 air filters. Mika and DT1 are top quality stuff, and Simon is a great sponsor of teams and groups. They also own/run DT1 MX Park in Tulare, CA (http://www.dt1mxpark.com/). Perhaps you've heard of Enzo too? He's going places.

We buy Mika and DT1 exclusively for all our bikes to support those who support our sport.

This. 20$ or something like that for 50 of them. I uset to be bad about scratching lens due to no tear offs. Now no matter what I have atleast one on the goggles and don’t have to replace lens near as much

My son races and uses laminated tear-offs and runs tear off gaskets between his lens and the laminates to seal all of the water and dirt out.

Nothing worse than running tears and getting water in them.

You can get laminated with perimeter seal now for Scott. The perimeter seal were only $5 more per pack when I bought some last week.

The standard Scott tear offs get hard to see through for me once I stack a few. I don’t know why they are so bad.

I usually run him with 2-3 and he knows to not pull the last one as it protects his lens.

I ordered a 50 pack from cheaptearoffs
Well see how they do.

They are decent. Cheap is part of the name. They are thinner than oem and more fragile. But I see guys tear off 5 in a row sometimes so who cares, right?

Remember the old angled tab tear offs?
You forget how you loaded, and yank the whole stack the first time.

I used to pick girls by their ability to put tear offs on goggles.

At my local place, tear offs are a “behind the counter” deal so they are never just sitting out. I’m a nobody so I just run 1-3 to protect my lens and my goggles life has gone through the roof. Can actually justify Armegas now that I know how to maintain them.

I do seem to get moisture between the tear offs and lens if it’s raining or if my sweating big time the woods

+1 for the tearoff gaskets plus laminates.
