Nico Izzi ?? (Update: Nico Returns to Racing in 2022)

His history is a long and consistent one of betrayal, lies, scandal, and legitimate crime. He didn't make one mistake and now he's trying to make amends; there is a well-established pattern of behavior. He's still traveling the same path he was before.
Maybe he is away from the substance abuse at the moment, but the continuation of handouts and enabling will not help him recover.
People have the right to help him however they see fit, I just see an enabling of the same arena he's been in before.
He did "pay his debt" or however you guys want to spin it, and because of that he's back out in the world and has an opportunity to get a job and take responsibility for his own life, doesn't mean he should be welcomed back into the sport where he burned almost every bridge he ever crossed.
I hope the best for Izzi the human being, as far as Izzi the moto athlete? There shouldn't be a place for him, but that's only my opinion.

Work itself out eventually? Dude, even if he "changed" he shouldn't be given the opportunity to victimize people again.
People seem to always associate "forgiveness" with "another chance" but they are entirely different things.
Someone can forgive a spouse for cheating and also divorce them and not give them the opportunity to cheat again.
This world isn't black and white but it sure as hell isn't as gray as I think you see it.

He definetly did lots of people dirty, but most of us have done some shady stuff as youngsters. I've never laid a hand on a girl because my Mom and 3 older sister's would've killed me and plus only cowards do that. I was surprised to see him in the Red Bull Straight Rhythm as many others were, but I highly doubt we'll see him racing Supercross. He wasn't even that good in his prime results wise. I wish him the best but his time has come and gone. But everyone has done dumb shit. But in our niche sport it is not forgotten so quickly as the Big 4 sports.

The media is not the way most of the country thinks. Women hv no rights there r men in this country that will see to it they hv rights. Knocking out Grandma gets you severely beaten. It’s a Rule among men you don’t beat women. I,m sure she lost her eye sight and has numerous problems yet today and for the rest of her life. Turn from hunted into hunter gonna hunt somebody down. Someone said Fair Warning. Lord shoot that poor boy down. even Van Halen gets it. Grandma I,m sure had kids the kids or grand kids had to help her with basic life duties and get her to see dr,s. The dr,s don’t give a shit about old people. You know there all pissed . How could you beat an old Grandma. Old people can not take a severe hit to the head. My 89 yr old Dutch pal Dora crashed her bike with a helmet on and woke up 4 days later in a hospital. Lost her eye sight in 1 eye. Gf would hv been beaten to death in Phily for his crimes yrs ago. Why do you think women say American men are soft gutless wussy’s . I hear women say this all ovr the country. And plz stop crying about pill addiction. Why would it b so much harder on you than everyone else ? Yeah because you can’t handle much. In the 90,s dr,s gave ya 5 huge bottles we all weened our selfs off of them. I'm a few Crown and Cokes deep after watching the horrible Monday NFL game.......way to get the ball to Sutton Ciara's husband. But I think you were getting at what I was saying. Only cowards hit women. My ex who was 22 and I was 30 got into an argument after a night at the bars. Got home and honestly don't know what the fight was about and I said I was done, and rolled over in bed to fall asleep. She got all bent out of shape and because I ignored her. I think the thread has its merits, there is something here regardless of your position on Nicco it tosses some light on a major issue in this country.

Huge advantage in sports being able to get to a extreme high for concentration easily. Being on edge every.0001 sec around him . Can handle responsibilities and pressure extremely well. Quickness x10. To avoid getting kicked and flying 20+ yards I relied on it. But old grannies don’t heal like a young person.

I’m reading his book, The Cost of Hidden Stress. Looking forward to his newest book as well. He was just on Joe Rogan. The man has done so much to help people, especially his work with psychedelics.
