Get your tickets now before they sell out...

I don’t think any track in Canada or the USA wants to pay infront what they want the tracks to pay to host a mxgp race. Maybe ML can chime in but I think I heard it’s like 6 figures infront ask the track owners to pay upfront to hold a race . I was just looking it up and couldn’t find it but found each mxgp rider has to pay 10,000 euros up front for the year to race that’s why they never have full gates that’s crazy money then the track promoters having pay 6 figures to hold a race on top of that also.

Can anyone chime in about this, that’s crazy to hear you have to pay 6 figures is wild to me

Big money investors in Vietnam, most of your athletic wear is made there, Hanoi has some really cool sights to visit, but that country is brutally hot.

There are some kickass deals to be made for clothes, bags, etc on the streets there, too.

And I would highly recommend a motorcycle trip across the country, it is a blast.

I don’t know why everyone downvoted my above post. I copied this from another member but in 2010 it was 400k to hold a race and that’s on top of each rider having pay 14k a year to race

USGP fees in 2010:

Team Rider Entry(Team must be approved by FIM): 10,000 Euro per rider(in 2010 the euro-dollar exchange rate was $1.40 in January...so $14,000 USD per rider).

Entry Fee: Entry fee was around $1000 per round(team paid it)

Start Permission each race(insurance policy needed-US policy was not valid for FIM): $200 and moved up to $225 if I remember right.

FIM license:$900

Approx. fee to hold GP $400k (I do believe this fee is negotiable depending on the interest of MXGP...for Dubai the government just bought one less Rolls Royce this year to pay for the race) I would speculate that Glen Helen has very special arrangements, since USGP really wants/needs US interest.

Zero chance for 23. Look for that in 24.

Didn't Vietnam lose the F1 GP?
If so there's a lot of $$$ there somewhere.

I dont have an issue with a gp far away. They allready did that back in the 80s and it is a world championship.

I also understand having 6 on the calendar if you can make big $ in fees.

But damn just use some of that money and pay all the expenses for the top 20 in points so that they actually make the trip. If someone is injured pay the next in line or pay #1 in emx.

My guess that’s Easter weekend and in the Netherlands. So practice Saturday and race Monday.
This has happened with the Sidecar boys in the past.

I would be very surprised if its the Netherlands with Arnhem also on the schedule. All the talk the past couple of years had been about Valkenswaard, Oss and Arnhem as site for a GP, nothing else. And Valkenswaard & Oss are both not possible.

My guess would be a 2nd race in Italy and it will be Sardinia. Reason is Italy hosted 4 GP's in 2022, and only 1 is on the calender for 2023. And i expect Sardinia because it would be strange to hold 2 Italian GP's within 2 weeks within a couple of km's apart from each other.

I was told it won't be that early into our season. Think later in the schedule.

In your wisdom, Lord, you took him, as you took so many bright flowering young men at Khe Sanh, at Langdok, at Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so would Donnie.
