To me the biggest difference is that Windham was fairly self-sabotaging in his early years in the big class. Bike switches, team conflict, extra curriculars, a lack of preparation. He actually become a model of consistency after his comeback in ‘03, and matured a ton with age.
There are much less question marks in Chase’s program, to me. His streakiness is fading fast, and he was rock solid in the Nationals and at MXoN.
Kdub looked like he was trailriding outdoors whilst handing most their ASSES!

You pose a question and word it so you are very complimentary of everyone involved hoping to get a little discussion pro or con and knuckleheads act like you are shitting on dudes.
I think it is too early to see if he will be as good as Windham. Kdub was racing RC for a good part of his career and never seemed to have any time without a legend ahead of him. He had a long career that Chase should be envious of.
With Eli out of Nationals and Dylan back I think next year will be pivotal for Chase.
