Noticed in this picture JL has the previous generation CRF shock on his bike (compression adjuster on left side) and what appears to be OEM Showa forks.
Of course maybe this is just his “Hold Up” suspension… But why would they use such an odd shock choice? Does a 2020 CRF450R shock even fit the new generation CRF without modification? 🤔🤷♂️

Here is a couple of pictures of different generation Showa BFRC shocks. They all share a common trait; The Compression/Rebound adjuster is located in one location and uses slot head screws.
The picture of Jett's bike is NOT showing the backend of the reservoir like you would see with the BFRC. IMHO, sure looks like a shock that was fitted to previous generation CRF's.
Interested to see if that's the actual shock he's going to use for the race!
