When the interview is over, just stare at the rider you are interviewing and not say anything. Keep staring until it gets super awkward and wait for the rider to ask if the interview is over, THEN walk off without speaking.
This right here would be hilarious!!! I'd pay money to see it! That's a game would lose while interviewing Marvin though. 😆
I think he's doing a great job by the way.

I didn't see it as i stopped watching anything MXSports related... but JT$ has a great head on his shoulders... he certainly wouldn't have done it just to be a a-hole.. what I did see from JT$ earlier this season he was crushing it.... best pit reporter of all time from what I saw earlier in the season...

I find his sign off... or lack thereof funny and refreshing, in a world of overly careful and politically correct media. At first I was like, wtf? But I laughed. It's a great signature move. He stops short!

I like his interview style. No fluff. We don't need the niceties, if you don't have anymore questions, walk away, let the riders get back to their deal.

JT is great. Regarding the OP and some others that think it’s ‘rude’ or unprofessional, I’d be willing to bet that he was instructed to end without any fluff by the producers. I say this because I noticed other pit reporters doing the same thing in the 90’s and early 2000’s. It may have even been Davey Coombs! lol there were a few other ones. Marty what's-his-name, back with Art and DB. I can recall some mechanics being interviewed during a race and unbeknownst to them the interview ended and they had a look on their face like “ok…we good?” 😄
