This place has become unbelievable. Cancel this, cancel that. The real world has invaded this place with a bunch of Sally’s.

Relax.

-Chances are most people are still watching the racing on the weekends, even after the MAVTV issue.

- if you were going to buy a Yamaha, you still should. Great bikes, thousands of great employees, great dealers. Who cares about one situation you don’t agree with. I’m willing to bet more than half of you that say you aren’t buying one now over the LL deal, never really were.

- cancel RacerX? I’m sure even if you do, you will still hit the website, click on stories and videos. Seriously why? because you all think everything leads to DC? It’s his fault? You want to get him back, personally? Like him or not MXSports, RacerX and all the people there have done more good for this sport than all of us combined.

I sincerely hope everyone who boasts about canceling anything feels that immediate relief and absolute redemption when doing so. However, I doubt you will. You are going to feel the same or find something else you feel you need to be mad at. When you feel the need to cancel, take a good drag off your cigarette, down a Monster and get that blood pressure back down. It’s going to be ok.

Pull your skirts out of your chain and keep riding. If, you even do ride still.

(Also, I fully expect a bunch of thumbs down on this thread from the exact Sally’s I’m talking about. No disrespect to women actually named Sally)

The TMZ world has invaded the MX world. It’s like a slow moving green glob, succumbing anything in it’s path.

I blame the Kardashians.

I've been waiting for a voice of reason. Yeah, go head and punish thousands of employees for something they had nothing to do with.

I was way ahead of the game… I haven’t bought a Yamaha in years.

I’m surprised they are still around after losing my business.

This would be a good place for an emoji thing, but I don’t use them, either.

Edit:
I do think the ones that strongarmed that kid were way out of bounds.

So the people and companies who canceled this kid from exercising his right to claim a bike…..if we the fans decide not to buy their products and support them…. We are the Karen’s and Sally’s?

Great reasoning lol

This folks, is why you should stay in school.

Damn right about that!😆😆😆

I did, however, cancel my Wells Fargo cards and accounts a few years ago when that fake account crap they pulled came out. I feel that was very justified.

Tbh I think it’s fair to cancel the TV package when it’s a total shit show every week and you can watch it for free on YouTube anyway..

This type of cancellation has been around forever. Just because someone gave it a name, "cancel culture", Karen's and Sally's like to call other's Sally's and Karen's for doing it.

I had an aunt who recently passed away from a terrible disease, her name was Karen. She was one of the nicest and sweetest people you would ever meet. I hate that term. It's an even more insulting way for cowards to call someone a whiny little bitch. That's more to the point of what I'd call anyone who wouldn't buy a bike because of the possible actions of a couple of people.

Soon, I discovered that this RacerX thing was true: Davey Coombs was the devil, Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet. All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world. So, there was only one thing that I could do... buy the new YZF450

Marginal is giving me wayyyyyy more credit then I deserve. I’ll take it.

I did play chicks in movies, don’t sell me short. It wasn’t a chick, it was like 15!!! then I got old and gained weight. It’s worked out good though.

150 projects later 😎

Deciding which companies you support or spend money with is called capitalism.

If you don't like cancel culture, there are plenty of countries to live where these freedoms of choice aren't allowed.

The forum has been unbearable this week. It’s really been horrible. It isn’t Moto. It’s just a bunch of people stirring a drama pot that has zero impact on them personally.

There was a stellar day of racing yesterday and MXGP is still going on. We have all kinds of stuff. Yet the people in here are hung up on some ammy racing shit. It’s pathetic and making me really think twice about continuing to interact here.

Feeling like you’re a part of this loser troop on vital this week is not a good feeling.

Its called speaking with your wallet and you are correct, its been around forever.

Cancel culture is more about trying to blacklist a person or business so that they can never operate or earn a living again. Someone getting fired for poor performance is not cancel culture. They can still find another job or do something different. There must be repercussions for poor performance or else you get what we have today.

Lets just continue tolerating mediocrity or worse, ya that's a great idea......good job Karen/Ken

I think this thread is the first time I’ve commented on this entire situation. The energy some of these nerds have put into whining is insane.

Yesterday someone asked on the bench racing thread why we only had a 6 pager at the last Moto of the day. Meanwhile these dorks can get 6 pages going about the tv package or the Deegan kid in like 30 minutes.

It’s just really shows that this isn’t a place that wants to love moto. It’s a place that wants to watch it burn and jump on every bit of chaos they can find and pull at every thread they can to find an issue.

And just for the record, you're totally cool with the industry moguls and insiders cancelling an amateur rider who perfectly followed a rule in the rule book. Duly fucking noted.
