Unbelievable domination from Sexton today. That second moto at Washougal was the passing of the baton, I bet even Eli knows it.

I don’t want to see that happen at all, but I was definitely nervous today. Some of those moments he had and with how fast the track was today, I wouldn’t have been surprised to see it and thought it was going to happen. I’m glad it didn’t though. It would have been really ugly had something happened today with the speed they were all going.

🤦‍♂️

Looked more like Tomac recognized it was Sexton’s day and not his. Better to take a 2-2 and race another day than crash out and be much more then…..1 whole point behind lol.

Has anyone every caught, passed and made 15 seconds on Eli? Eli was still 20 secs in front of 3rd. Crazy

Is this the non MX Sports boycott post? Thank god.

And yeah Sexton was unreal today. He flows so well. I always felt like him and AC or yin and Yang. Both ultra smooth and cool style, but one of them will figure it out and the other won’t. Unfortunately it’s not looking the best for AC.

That BFRC shock sure helps keep that bike composed on square edges

Sexton is definitely very impressive. He's so damn smooth. I'm a Tomac fan but I'm now wondering who will win the championship. Sexton rails at Pala.

Would’ve been great if he didn’t get collected with Eli last race.

Eli knows how good Sexton is at Pala... You know he's feeling the pressure to make something happen at the next 2 races.

Can you imagine if Sexton manages to go the entire series a avg better than a 2nd place finish without winning the championship? Incredibly that's a real possibility.

He was just as good as Washougal, but there was another guy equally as impressive. Tomac was just a tiny bit off today as usually at this track. Next two races should be good for him though. Pala is Sextons turn then. May the best man win Cool

They are both getting great starts. Hopefully it's tight but sometimes God has different plans.

Didn't he already finish 4th in Moto 1 @ Thunder Valley ?

Still, extremely impressive season so far.

My bad, you're right... he only scored 39pts @lakewood and finished 2nd in moto 2 so that would put him 4th in moto 1st moto. He's been 1st or 2nd every other moto giving him an avg finish better than 2nd

The first moto was incredible. Chase was tenth or worse on the start. I thought there was zero chance he would win and just hoped he’d get to second. Who the hell has run down tomac and passed him like that in a national?

Someone mentioned how sketchy Sexton looked at times. He did, but so did everyone. I think we all tend to focus on those moment with Chase a little more just because of his history but guys were all over the place today. The track did not look like it was fun.

The last three motos Chase has broken Tomac. Tomac pushed hard most of the moto at Washougal but he did end up throwing in the towel with ~3 to go. Today he just had nothing for Sexton. Surprising to see. Take nothing from Tomac though, dude has been great this year as well and it’s probably been smart to not push when he didn’t have it, especially today.

Gonna be a great finish.

Ferrandis didn't beat a Tomac as fast as the one Chase is beating
