I went to cancel my Racer X subscription and just wanted to give a few pointers to others.
- after you log into the racer x website, click on the menu and in 'The Mag' section, select 'subscribe'
- scroll all the way to the bottom and select 'Manage your existing subscriptions'
- go to the 'Credit Card' tab and delete any saved credit cards
- go to the 'Subscriptions' tab and then click 'Details' on your active subscription
- scroll to the bottom and uncheck 'Automatically renew my subscription when it expires' (if it's already checked, anyways).
After subscribing since 2002, I'm done with MXSports and Racer X.

The bike claim deal is another black eye for MX Sports because they decided they needed to get involved in a matter that concerned only the sanctioning body/rule enforcers. The promoters do not enforce the AMA rules, they abide by them.
A major issue I have with this is how Racer X is a sister company to MX Sports, and they have had impartial reporting on all of these situations this year. They clearly do not have objective reporting, as evidenced by the constant stream of BS coming out about how the TV broadcast is fine ("going to be better than ever if you're a motocross fan" DC, PulpMX show), the bike claim was handled properly ("it was all handled properly", DC, Racerhead #32), and the fact that they all skirted the questions about commercials on the broadcast when they knew full well that we would have them during the races.
So, until I start to see some positive changes in the organization I will not continue to support them. I imagine there are other people like me that subscribe to the magazine as a way to show support for everything MXSports does - not because the magazine content stands on its own when half of it is ads.
P.S. it gets real old hearing from Steve Matthes that he thinks everyone's problem is their internet. There are major problems with every broadcast this year, and they know the problem is the platform and bad decisions made by the production company. For instance, they missed starting the practice stream this weekend until almost 20 minutes after it should have started, and they also had audio issues where the sound was just muted for app viewers. Unacceptable to have these problems for months.
So, you're not going to watch or follow any US outdoor races, because doing so supports them.
I'm not a lawyer like you, so you can pick apart my words, but I believe you understand what I'm saying.
