- Sexton & Tomac.
- ML & Vital's bump in quality content from each round of racing.
- JT$ being added to the broadcast.
- The rotating guests in the booth (additional shoutout to J Mart for doing a really good job).
- DC finally being exposed as a narcissist, selfish business person. The sport can take a step back this offseason and make adjustments to improve at all levels next year.
- Excitement shown by the riders & fans for MXDN at Redbud.
- MXDN creativity. Whether it's the right or wrong decision, great to see Team USA doing something different with the team and putting a 450 rider on the 250.
- Jett. Special talent doing special things.
- Amateurs racing select rounds of the series.
- Dungey back racing.

On to Dilla.

I dig the clean racing up front in both classes for the nats... pretty awesome seeing these guys go at it for the full 30 minutes!

Hit the nail on the head on most points.

Great racing in the 450 class. Rotating announcers is 200 fold more tolerable than the permanent hack placement of prior years

I particularly enjoyed seeing MAVTV fail and DC get exposed as a narcissist as you articulated. That was my favorite part of the series

Why's Davey a narcissist?

The TV/stream has been a headache, but I can’t complain much more past that.

Racing has been fucking incredible in both classes all outdoors IMO, tracks have been good, looks like fan attendance is great at the races as well. Beautiful year we’ve had.

Your post was great up until this point. Davey has done more for this sport than anyone else here has. What amazes me is how quickly people turned their backs on him just because they didn't get the quality viewing they wanted, and arguably deserved, as acknowledged by Davey.

Let him who without sin cast the first stone.

This is just my own perception, but it seems like the last few years have been marked by a refinement in the technical approach to riding these big bikes (rider positioning, keeping feet on the pegs, etc...). Not that it hasn't been exciting or that there haven't been individual races to contradict this, but I've personally observed a higher emphasis on consistency over the "win or die trying" mentality. This season seems different. Those top guys seem to have used that consistent championship pace from years past as a foundation to really push the bar in a new way and it's absolutely bonkers to watch.

I play music and my roommates are musicians and are not interested in moto in the least. I was watching that Millville moto 2 the other weekend and one of them sat down on the couch to put his shoes on and watched in silence for a few minutes before shaking his head and saying, "dude this is a fucking intense sport I had no idea".

Also, I was definitely one of the ET doubters last year and was bummed out thinking that his best years were behind him. I've never been so pleased to be completely off the mark and to get this kind of effort, pace, and also positive attitude out of Eli is pretty rad.

BIG positive for me was all the new drone shots.
Thanks to DC for making the sport more transparent than ever.

Speaking of positives, how many kids will catch the Wu this week at the ranch?

I know not everyone agrees, but I'd throw Bubba's World Podcasts into the 2022 win pile. Great to have a fresh take on each round from the FMOTP.
