Pro race is fun to watch. But 100% not worth the money for two laps of practice and a single 4 lap moto
You could have podiumed the C class bro.

That is awesome all the attention the RD is getting - well deserved. And yes, keep it for a while.

Heading to Washougal tomorrow as well. Meeting some folks for breakfast at 8 then headed up.
Hoping for great racing.

Didn't know Beta had any of the 450RX bikes stateside yet?? Wish i could have been there to check it out!! As a dealer we won't get to ride one till October at the meeting. I'm pretty stoked to get one for next year. I already have a 300RX and love it. Time to say bye bye to my YZ450s!? Hmmm...

Looked for you Hammer - did not find your pit. Also - didn’t see the 79 125. Did something happen to the bike?

We were right at the flagpoles. Had the RD400 there too. JB rode the RM in practice and said he wasn’t ready to race it. He has less than an hour on it and it’s totally different than anything he’s ever ridden. Currier on the Yamaha was flying till he blew it up. Solid night of racing with a really good crowd.

Nice to have met you Hammer, I was the cat that mentioned he had the ‘77.

Beta doesn’t have a 450 in the U.S. unless they are playing with the bore and stroke on a different model but I highly doubt it. If I had to guess, it was a 480

The PIR race was so much fun! Me and my friend Rob Windt didn’t know what to expect. But we had a blast! I wished we had races like this over in Europe! The atmosphere was so good, lots of spectators and everybody wants to help you if there is a problem. We loved it!
I was behind a Sprinter van with Netherlands tags driving in Thursday afternoon. Was that you guys?

It looked like he had a mechanical. He brought it in to the mechanics area and ended up walking off the track before the moto was over.

After reading through this thread I am realizing I really need to put Vital on my phone LOL. Sorry I missed everyone Thursday night. I was there with my two sons. We all raced two classes. They were on two matching GasGas 125's crashing all over the track. My oldest son #85 was battling for the lead in one of his motos and went down on a slick spot . My younger boy crashed his way around as well on the #76 GasGas. Their old man though brought home some Iron.
I got second in 40 expert and somehow I ended up second in the vintage race behind Rory Sullivan. I know Landon blew up his bike and the other really fast guy behind Rory( I can't remember his name) was in the older bike class. The track was awesome as usual, the crowd absolutely insane!!! The pro racing is always some of the best racing and the amateur racing was pretty darn good as well. My kids never raced PIR before and are absolutely hooked. They want to go back next Thursday.

No worries man, it was a busy night of fun and hard to keep up with everything. Dad and I checked your CR500 out, definitely drool worthy. I’ve always wanted one just to burp around and to keep my kick start leg in check lol. We watched the vintage race and seen you out there letting it rip and those locks flow, nicely done!! Landon was seriously ripping that old yz around until it blew up. I didn’t see what happened to the other guy on the old CR. Stoked that Rory ended up taking the win too. That track has incredible soil and looks like a lot of fun to ride, stoked you and your boys came out! We will be out there next year racing the vintage class as soon as we find a bike worth the inflation rates. We will eventually cross paths at one of these events. Cheers

Yes that was us! My mate Rob shipped his van over earlier this year. Packed it up as if was going to a practice day.. Loaded it on a ship and picked it up in Baltimore. Than we drove it across the country to do some nationals and this race !

What an adventure!!! I spent some time in the Netherlands back in '08. It was pretty cool to be behind a motovan with Netherlands tags at a race in America..
