Yeah, he's kind of getting "generational."

I'm not a exactly a fanboy, but it's getting harder and harder to argue with them. The dude has speed, style and race management skills beyond his years. If he closes out this title, that'll be 2 national titles by the age of what, 19? That's rare.

Without the mechanical last weekend it would have been 6 overalls in 6 races. That's some special stuff. 450 outdoors next year with him, Sexton, Ferrandis and hopefully a healthy AC will be fun to watch!

Yeah he's an incredible rider but I would be shocked if he won the 450 title in his rookie season. The transition to 450 can be tough. Not saying he can't.

Jett is amazing . 250 class is weak , very weak. When was the last time you could nt name a rider on a 250 for the mxon without even thinking about it . I cant remember a time . There were multiple riders good enough. This doesnt mean jett is nt amazing. But put a healthy j mart there and him and Jett are half a lap ahead every wk . Bar the odd time hunter and shimoda have a great wk end. A healthy j coop could too imo .

You can only not name a mxon rider because the top 3 aren’t American, if they were there would be 3 you could name straight up

He certainly doesn’t appear challenged by the 250 class. Hunter can come close to his pace but Jett seems to have a few extra gears then everyone else.

When roczen and mm25 were racing 250 s it was still easy pick riders . The last few years of young factory rider s just havent been that impressive. Kitchen, hammaker and a couple other s have been the exception, but still not like the days when it was year after year of new young stars every year . Ie ,villo, dungey, carnard , bagget , tomac , barica, j mart, webb, AP 7 etc etc .

It’s crazy. When Kitchen was challenging Jett 2nd moto, I was like what a battle, these guys are on the edge, all over the track, revving WFO, just hanging it out… but then I looked at Jett and thought wow, he looks like he’s on a Sunday cruise. Their styles were totally different.

It’s almost like Jett was chilling on a chaise lounge by the pool and Kitchen was just a pesky gnat buzzing around him.

I know the Jett train is rolling hot and heavy.... but...

Joe and kitchen have both shown, for short periods, they can run that speed... and Cooper is straight up slower than last year... Jett (and hunter) is lucky there isn't another guy with cooper's speed from last yr on the gate...

Also... what is the Lawrence boys lost visor count so far this season? They have both been very lucky this season after hitting the dirt.... both Lawrence boys need to keep it on two wheels as it seems crashes may very well be the only thing that will keep them from winning ....

Ya Jett is out of control. He's always picking himself up off the ground. Wtf? The lucky ones are the field that his bike blew up or he would have a huge points lead. Sure seems like Jett only goes as fast as he needs to. He could win by a bigger gap. Look at 2nd moto Red Bud. He was on a mission after that dnf and yarded everyone

It’s clear to me, especially after moto 2 last week, that Jett rides about 80-90% when he’s out in front. Picks up the pace on command when someone pushes him. Look at how he rode the first half of moto 2 at Red Bud or however long it took him to get into the lead and compare that to how he rode today.

I saw James Stewart look real special against amateurs. Then I saw him look special against men. Jett is a special talent. The only thing that will stop him will be himself.

Jett is already faster than everyone else in the class and seems to do it at 85% speed. If someone is having a really good day and starts to catch him, he just speeds up and rides away. I can not wait to see him on a 450.

Not if Ferrandis comes in 100%. He has yet to face a serious challenge. Ferrandis and Sexton will give him fits.

He's broken Cooper, and last year JMart.

I rate them as serious.

Not really a fan but do like the fact he is genuinely that way. Not like AC who used to be a major dick, but after getting hurt and forgotten about he comes out the last few years acting like a dollar store knock off version of Pastrana. With that said I hope Jo can get this title.

Imagine if they keep it on 2 wheels haha

A strong rider makes the field look week.
If u look over the mx results in the last 4 years or so the guys challenging for the titles are the same guys. Cooper and rj. In that time the only guys to move up are Dylan and ac, then u have sexton who was never a threat 250 outdoors and mcelrath. So the field depth is pretty much the same over the last few years. Then u have jmart who broke himself 2 times last year trying to keep up.
