If you see a cool sport, or anything else, everyone has a phone and/or internet and everyone has the ability to learn as much or as little as they want to and has immediate access to Google, related websites, forums, the answers are right there to any questions they may have or any info they want.

They can quit trying to dumb everything down and spoon feed people with no negative consequences, it's not super complicated anyway for the most part is it. Just show it and cover it like you would if you were assuming people had been watching for years. Even if they haven't, they'll understand half of it, they'll figure out the next quarter via just watching it and taking it in or from doing their own research, then the last quarter comes with time and familiarity and no 'science of...' segments or 'legends' spiel is gonna shortcut it.

Who watches motocross and think "well shit, I don't understand any of this".

I just downloaded and signed up for the app but there is no way to pay for the subscription. I'd really like to watch it on my actual tv not my phone or laptop, I guess I'm out of luck again this weekend?

I keep getting ERROR: 9999 saying I don't have permission (even though I've paid), even watching old races from my Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Google TV, and Android phone. Contacted MavTV and they said app is not working and to watch them free at mavtvplus.com.

Should be able to cast it to TV depending on what you're using.

You could also go to mavtv and watch. Then you can cast using Chromecast or Airplay to TV.

MAVTV app still not working for more than a few mins at a time before dropping. Even if it works perfectly, not having rewind ability on a video/streaming service in 2022 is crazy. That’s a bit disappointment. Oh well…again…

It's the same as... why is "KTM broke in half" back to the top of the feed on race day. The commentary on here is often a miss, but on race day, c'mon. Don't post about how to find some cam for your 2017 YZ. It's race day. We should be talking about Dungey. or how well Broc Glover is doing in the booth (which is excellent imo).

Streaming trouble is excusable on a first broadcast, shit happens. What isn't excusable is a track preview 10 minutes into the race, features during the race, missing action (McAdoo's crash), excessive commercials and not having enough spotters to know that Kenny is still in 2nd when the transponder takes a shit.

Everyone deserves a Mulligan, this is yours. Next week should see a vast improvement.

Side note: The mea culpa on Insta was a good start but since DC is called out specifically in this thread and we know he reads it should be addressed here. Screwing up is acceptable, ignoring it isn't.
I was all ready to compliment them on fixing things until I missed about 12 minutes of the last 450 moto.

Lest any of the rest of you think I'm a chronic complainer I'm actually very easy going and let a ton of shit slide if I know fixing it will be more hassle than it's worth. Last year at Budds Creek I "renewed" my subscription to RacerX so I could get the cool Ethika Lorretta under britches. Mind you I already had about a year left and I confirmed with them that my subscription would just tack on the end. Guess who gets two copies of RacerX every month? That's right, this guy. Made one call to fix it and didn't get fixed so I reached my limit of how much effort I'd give to get those 20 bucks and wrote it off. Now I have one copy in the bathroom and a copy in my living room.
