It's obvious that the teams that run the Zook can make a competitive platform. They don't have top tier riders so is it the bike or the rider? I'd guess that the yellow bike is more than enough for most riders. I probably wouldn't buy one but not because it couldn't do the job.

The 2022 (and every other year, ever) had graphics on the non-shroud side.

Suzuki still claims that the number one reason those frames broke was because guys had the fork position incorrect. And I have seen a ton of them wrong. One fork setting for little wheel and one setting for big wheel. Most guys would put the fork setting on the little wheel where the big wheel should have been. But it didn't matter, if you had a fast enough kid you would still crack one. I gusseted plenty of them.

I love going to the track on my so called inferior RMZ, I especially love passing all the guys riding their shoot out winning Yamahas and Hondas while they ride around in 3rd gear at half throttle.

Everyone complains about how expensive the bikes are getting and here Suzuki is giving us a cheaper option that isn't Chinese junk and people bash them. I bought a brand new 2020 RMZ450 right when they first hit the showroom floors for $6200

I don't think I've ever chimed in on a Suzuki thread but I'm actually surprised people are making fun of the pipe and graphics offer. Sure, you can add a pipe to any bike and have more power than a Suzuki but would Suzuki have offered the incentive if they didn't care at least a little bit with appearing competitive still?

If you're a weekend warrior, a brand new RMZ250 with a pipe for 7,899 is a budget oriented race machine in my book. Admittedly, I'm an off-road guy so I'd love to see them come out with a true race-oriented XC line but that's probably a pipe dream. Regardless, I don't get the hate when they finally offer SOMETHING new. It's not a complete redesign but isn't pretty much accepted that if you buy a new Suzuki to race the two mods you need to make is a pipe and suspension? They just did half the work for you.

It may just be a pure financial choice. Their incentive last year was 750 bux + a power tuner. Now it looks like the power tuner comes with the bike, but throwing a Yosh and some stickers in is probably just cheaper at OEM cost than $750.

2) Start selling 2 strokes again. They don't even have to change anything, except maybe throw the current plastics on them. I'd argue they would sell just as many of these as their current thumpers.
I hate to say it, but they would be better coming out swinging with kickass electric bikes before the other big OEMs.
That would make financial sense.

It’s a real catch 22 they’re caught in. They don’t see the point in investing in their motocross line because sales are down. But sales are down because they don’t invest in the line.
