Hard to believe not one HD or even a color video/picture has come to light with all the cell phones on this planet. I use to live by Edwards AF and I saw and heard "UFO's" all the time. My dad was an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force. He told me about the time he first saw the SR-71, definitely thought it was a UFO, which it was at the time. You'd be surprised with the amount of technology that the general public doesn't know about or couldn't even imagine. Although I've never see an alien, I can't say if they are real or not. We have jets that have a heat signature of a bird for gods sake lol. This technology was invented back in the 80's and drones back in the 60-70's. Something tells me, the shit we have now would blow our minds. So yes, UFO's do exist per say lol

When I was the apprentice Editor on Star Trek 1st Contact and we were actually editing on film it was actually as good as VFX got at the time.

Crazy what we can temp in now with Media Composer and Boris...

I used to work with several guys that rode that airplane every week. They were on the F-117 project before it was made public.

I find it really hard to believe that our earth is the only planet to create intelligent life in our universe but I also think this thread doesn't provide a shred of evidence for extraterrestrial life.
Same with the other "Official UFO Disclosure with Footage from Military" thread.

The Bob Lazaar information is pretty interesting. The guy hasn't changed one part of his story since the 80's and it appears the technology that he mentioned back then is trickling into normalcy at the moment.

For one I believe all of his credentials are completely made up. He's not really that consistent with his story either.

Here is a bunch of copy and paste from the Quora link I posted above. I'm also about to pick up a buddy from the airport that was a huge Lazaar fan back in the day. Maybe he will change my mind. Or maybe he changed his.

Physicist Stanton Friedman, a serious UFO researcher, attempted to check the background of Bob Lazar. Lazar had claimed to have attended MIT, Caltech, California State University at Northridge, and Pierce Junior College in the San Fernando Valley, California. Friedman found that Pierce Junior College said he had taken electronics courses in the late 1970s. The other three schools never heard of him.

The page from the Los Alamos National Lab phone book with Lazar’s name on it clearly states that it includes employees of the Department of Energy and an outside contractor, Kirk Meyer. “K/M” follows Lazar’s name, proving he worked for K/M, not Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL).

Friedman also checked with LANL’s personnel department for Lazar’s name and that of an old colleague of Friedman’s. They found Friedman’s friend, but not Lazar.

Lazar claimed “Bill Duxler” would remember him from the physics department at Caltech. Friedman located Dr. Duxler. He’s a Pierce Junior College physics professor who never taught at Caltech. Lazar was registered in one of his courses at the same time Lazar was supposedly at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, over 3000 miles away.

Lazar claims he got a Master of Science degree in Physics at MIT, which requires a thesis. There is no record of his thesis at MIT, nor is he on any commencement list.

Bob Lazar came into the national spotlight in 1989 as a result of Las Vegas newscaster George Knapp, who was featuring UFOlogists on his news program. He claimed he had been fired from is job after being deemed a security risk, and his “coming out” was revenge for the firing. But even Knapp was unable to verify any background information on Lazar, save for taking classes at Pierce Junior College
___________

Every one of his claims is either unverified, or completely proven false.

He never worked at Area 51, there is not S-4 site near Area 51. He is not a physicist, he is an electrician by trade with a two year degree from a local community college. He never went to MIT.

His work at Los Alamos was not as a research physicist, but rather as the aforementioned electrician, doing building wiring installation as an outside contractor.

His element 115 was made up by him.

Scientists later creating an element with the atomic number of 115 does not prove Lazar right, it was just reality catching up to his fantasy. The real element 115 has none of the claimed properties Lazar made up.

He is a con artist. A tall tale teller that gullible conspiracy theory morons just eat his shit up.

As for Aliens…

I believe alien life exists.

But this is simply a belief. Based only upon the sheer vastness and scope of the universe. Give life the smallest possible odds, and the universe is so vast that those odds would still result in numerous life and civilizations.

But I do not believe any are visiting Earth at this time or in the past. Maybe one day in the future.

There is no evidence of alien life. UFOs are not aliens, they are simply anything seen in the sky for which the observer does not know what it is. If you see a plane and don't know it is a plane and have no idea what it is…. Then that IS a bonifide UFO.

It does not mean it's alien.

___________

Is there any credible science within Bob Lazar's claims?
Absolutely none.

If that wasn’t bad enough, he screws up on the science he does babble on about. Let’s start with element 115. Element 115 is used as a fuel source for the Zetareticulans to power their space ships or anal probes or whatever.
Here’s where Bob screws it up. He claims Zeta Reticulli which is a binary. He seems to think that two stars would yield element 115 as opposed to our solar system. No Bob, it takes a star twice as massive to produce heavier elements.
Ultimately this is irrelevant as the elements that form a solar system don’t come from the parent star. Secondly he claims that element 115 is stable and can’t be produced in a lab. Oops! It was created in a lab not long ago. As far as stable goes, yes, element 115 is much more stable than the other transuranium elements. It lasts tenths of a second as opposed to ten thousands of a second.

But my favorite is how the ‘Grays’ release power from element 115. They react one atom of 115 with one antineutron (antimatter counterpart to a proton). Ok, what would happen is that you would obliterate ONE proton which would eject all the remaining electrons, proton and neutrons as dangerous ionizing radiation (alpha and beta particle) the reaction would convert less than 1% of the element 115 atom into energy.
What you WOULD want to do is react positrons with protons for 100% efficiency and no alpha and beta radiation. Seriously, if this really an example of ‘gray’technology no wonder their ships crash all the time. I can’t believe there are people who STILL lap up Bob’s sh*t
___________

Did Bob Lazar go to MIT?
He claims to have attended both MIT and Caltech, and to have gotten a master’s degree from both, but there are no records of him attending either, and he can’t even remember when he got his degree. It is very unlikely that both MIT and Caltech would have lost records that he graduated from those schools, and it is also unlikely that he would have also lost HIS OWN DIPLOMAS from both schools. He also supposedly graduated in the bottom third of his class in high school, which makes it very doubtful that he would have been accepted to either of those schools.
The only one hiding Robert Lazar’s records is Bob Lazar: he doesn’t produce his claimed certifications from CalTech or MIT, doesn’t observe licensing and interstate commerce laws with his “United Nuclear” company (which sells scientific toys like magnets), and otherwise hides any solid evidence he has of aliens, Moscovium’s anti-gravity properties, etc.
___________

What are things Bob Lazar says or does that makes it seem like he is lying?
What Bob Lazar says about Element 115 proves that he is lying.

It is doubtful that he has ever read (and understood) a book on atomic physics.

People try to make a big deal about Lazar talking about element 115 before it was manufactured. But box number 115 has existed on the periodic table of elements ever since the thing was made up over a hundred years ago. It’s just a box with a number on it.

Heavy elements are manufactured by adding a few protons to somewhat less heavy elements. The heavier they are, in general, the less stable they are. Lazar says he worked with a “stable” isotope of element 115. But no stable isotope has ever been found. So him “knowing” about it proves nothing.

He says that Element 115 occurs naturally in the star system of his pet aliens who have their flying saucers because it is a binary star system and one of the stars produces the element.

This is not physically possible.

Stars do not produce ultra heavy elements until they explode. And then they cannot be part of a “binary star system.”

He says that element 115 reacts in a special way with antimatter.

This is also impossible.

Element 115 (like all heavy elements) is just a slightly heavier version of ordinary matter with a few more ordinary protons added to it. It’s not magic.

Heavy elements react particularly poorly with antimatter. Because the anti particle can only react with one particle (electron or proton) from the atom and the rest is not affected.

And he says that this special reaction of ordinary matter with ordinary antimatter produces anti gravity.

That’s not the way it works.

Matter reacting with antimatter produces gamma rays.

Gamma rays are not magic “anti gravity.” They are just ordinary electromagnetic radiation like any other old light waves or radio waves or whatever.

Bob Lazar lies.
___________

Bob Lazar and Element 115. Some of his story sounds believable, some not. Have there ever been more credible or respected scientists that have backed him up?
No. In fact, the more we learn, the more obvious it becomes that he was making everything up and is a complete fraud.

For example, we have since synthesized element 115. Also known as Moscovium, it was first synthesized in 2003. It has absolutely none of the properties that he claimed it does.

Yo 308— Wow—-Any chance Lazar personally attacked your wife or kids, lol ?? We get it, you feel your smarter than he is ,thusly everything he’s claimed, you debunk.

Now,if I had as much free time as you, I could post just as many videos proving Lazar isn’t as full of shit as you claim, and list all of the many “credible and respected scientists “ that do firmly believe his accounts. Actually it’s fairly easy to find them .

As far as Stanton Friedman is concerned, I highly respect Friedman for his intellect and knowledge and all of the years he spent researching the field, however, I actually had the honor of talking one on one with Stanton for an hour or so a few years back and can tell you that there is FAR more to the Lazar/Friedman dynamic than is widely recognized.. Now that Stanton is no longer with us , I’m not going into everything he talked about with me that night about his feelings about Bob and why.

And as far as being a “con artist “—- one of the major and probably the only trait of being a Con Artist is to extract money from his victims thru nefarious means. For over 30 years ,Lazar has not profited a single penny from his story. He even had to file for bankruptcy protection several years ago. An easy way to avoid that would have been to be selling his story to every publisher or screenwriter that was interested (which were multiple). But he didn’t—- until Jeremy Corbell convinced him just very recently.

Calling a dude a “liar” and “con artist “ without having any personal interaction or suffering any ill-effects from him is somewhat suspect

I didn't call him a con artist. I said I think he's full of shit. I don't think I'm smarter than Bob but I might be more honest.
When you get some free time please supply some of those videos proving Lazar isn’t as full of shit. The ones with the many “credible and respected scientists “ that do firmly believe his accounts. I can't find any.
A Physicist’s Critique by Dr. David L. Morgan

I'm honestly open to change my mind about him. Watched plenty of his YT content and new documentary. Never read his books though.

Sure is an interesting story. I just find it hard to believe him when there’s no evidence of his supposed degrees from MIT and Cal-Tech. Perhaps it’s possible his claims are all true but when he went public he made up the mit and cal-tech claims to give himself more credibility with the public. Maybe he was discredited and records erased by the fbi, etc soon as he went public. If it was just n elaborate hoax why not manufacture a fake thesis or other evidence supporting his schooling and claims? Seems he could have covered his bases a little better. I could see his supporters claiming he was discredited and “erased”, he put all the info out there and doesn’t care if people believe him or can prove it or not. I’m sure this has all been discussed before.

Yeah, maybe.
Some of these guys are seasoned, and all are highly trained in the equipment they are using.

You really think they are going to confuse something with a bird?

You think this is the first bird they've encountered?

I think your boys should stick to debunking movies or whatever they do besides bong rips.

308,

Don't know if you are aware of my history here with talking about UFO's but I have seen them twice and each time I was with another person who saw the same thing.

The most obvious one was in broad daylight when the government had shut down all the lakes in Arizona and Jan and I were there alone sitting on a park bench under a cabana as we were able to get by the barricade on my streetbike.

I explained it in more detail a few times on here if you want you could try to dig it up.

The point is I'm trying to make is I have no reason to make anything up but we definitely saw them.
They were bright Orange orbs that formed a triangle then whoosh they were GONE!

UP the canyon they reappeared and danced around the sky just like the fisherman in Baja saw if you watched it on the History Channel.

I remember your encounter and I do not doubt that you've seen a unidentified flying object. I wish I had the luck of encountering something like that myself.

You can still enjoy ufology through a skeptical lens.
Bob Lazar does not come off as that credible to me. I don't know the guy and have nothing against him.

Two of my favorite Carl Sagan short quotes.
“extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.”
“The universe is a pretty big place. If it's just us, seems like an awful waste of space.”

Godier's content has been very good. And I've noticed he has REALLY ramped up his Alien/ET related stories lately. Wonder if there's a reason for that ?

Idk. Godier sounds open to Alien life but skeptical on UFO's here.
