Is anyone else a little annoying with Ricky Johnson on the mic? someone had brought it to my attention that he related everything during a broadcast to his racing and the past...

NOW, I know nostalgia is one thing, and talking about something from the past is common, or an example from the past is common but...

Does anyone else notice everything these guys currently do RJ constantly compared to "back when i was racing" im personally super annoyed with it now that someone brought it up, i can not get it out of my head and it happens SO frequently....

Little long winded and monotone. They did pretty good though out of the gate. They are also at the mercy of the producer..weege saved the show a few times hes a pro

Sounded plenty good to me, I get what you're saying, but I don't get why it's a bad thing.

Especially considering it isn't his usual gig, I think he did a great job, as did MC.

RJ & MC knocked it out of the park today. Very calm, on point analysis of the action as it's happening. Not too many OOOHHH's and UUUUHHH's that RC is famous for. Just passionate commentary along with years and years of experience mixed in. It was great!! Looking forward to how the other guys (Glover, et al) compare in the weeks to come.

Langston was way worse and without the accolades of RJ. Maybe RJ should've plugged his nose and said "as a young boy growing up in Southern California......." followed by some lame story 10 times a race. Then it would've been ok?

Weege literally said this past week that no matter how great these legends do people will complain about them talking about the past. Wow how right he was.

Weege, RJ and The King did great in the booth along with JT on support. Great day of racing and announcing.
