With how well he has ridden and has gelled with the bike, what is your prediction for him outdoors? I genuinely think that regardless of his past finishes outdoors, he will be vastly improved outdoors this season.

Better than 2018–best yet, even. Better than the blue bikes? I’m not so optimistic.

I think outdoors will see Eli, Ando, Sexton and Ferrandis up front all season, and not necessarily in that order.

I’m excited to see Malcom outside for once.
And I forgot KR was even riding outdoors.

JA I think will finish 2-5 overall. I’m curious to see if Ferrandis will back it up while running the number 1 plate

It really depends on how he’s feeling right now. Does he feel that this SX season did enough to secure him another year beyond 23 on well-paying, factory equipment? If so, then he probably wins a couple of motos and hangs around in the top 5.

If he is still carrying this chip on his shoulder that he’s had all year so far, and doesn’t have an extension settled yet with Kawi so he isn’t just on a lame duck seat in 23, then barring injury, I think he has his best outdoor season ever.

Dude saw the end of the road and realizes he wants to keep the factory gravy train rolling on much longer. Everyone doubted him. The racerX preview show didn’t have him in their top 10! Shit was criminal.

If he’s still feeling disrespected. If he still wants an extension beyond 23 and it’s not settled, he’s going to win an overall for sure and might shock us all with what he pulls off.

He'll probably have his best season yet. He's always been more SX-inclined, but I think we could see multiple moto wins and maybe an overall or two. But, I would be very surprised if he won the title. Ferrandis is proven to be a beast outdoors, and Tomac has always had a higher ceiling in outdoors as well (let's hope he gets healthy). Roczen always starts seasons off on fire too, so I wouldn't be surprised if he comes in hot, don't see him being a title threat past round 6 though. Simple answer: his peak points finish is 2nd (could prove me wrong but I doubt it), definitely see him top 5 though.

Na, he's already in a pretty good place with that bike indoors.

Seems like in the past there's been an SX hangover from the champion, or in this case, Anderson who's on a tear right now.

No doubt they'll hit the ground running.
Ferrandis as well as Sexton.

More than likely Tomac may ease into the first race just to determine the health of his knee.

Wild card will be the two KTM riders.

Trying to predict who will finish where is ridiculous at this point.

Hmmmm, last time I checked he’s never won a championship outdoors in either class. Yet some people think he’s gonna be in the running for a championship. Strange…..

I think his odds are better than Eli right now. Eli just won a title and has an injury to recover from and Jason come in healthy and a winner mind set. I think he is more hungry than Eli right now. JMO

Big range. Won't be surprised if he wins a lot, won't be surprised if he's hovering around 3-5.
