Will the big manufactures get on board? Are they gonna wait a few years and play catch-up? Maybe just buy one of the startups out? This one has a A couple of features that everybody’s been crying about. Swappable batteries and a clutch.

I think that the big boys could probably go into production tomorrow, if they wanted to. But why kill your existing business, wait until forced to do so.

At first I thought it was funny that they advertise having a reverse button. After thinking some more, that would actually be pretty useful

For freestyle guys that may open a whole lot more wheelie style tricks. Imagine if you could go full speed reverse while in the air? You could do 180's and land backwards and keep going like it was nothing lol

Or Enduro guys with a rocker throttle? Do some mechanical balancing as well.

Or get stuck behind a pileup during the first lap? It would be awesome to go 2-3 feet in reverse, change your line, and blast out of there, instead of doing the "tug my handlebars until I get out of this mess" dance.

And the electronic clutch....probably just interrupts the power through the software. Very useful.

Staycyc working on screwdriver voltage range. I dont think they will make MX model ever. E-MTB with full suspension will be big step from these.

Fluxmoto seems pretty similar spec level with Alta/Stark.

That was part of the quote from the CEO of Kawasaki Japan back in November. Here is the complete quote...

"3 EV Kawasaki motorcycles will be introduced in 2022, 10 by 2025 and 100% EV by 2035..."

Yes, they are all working on EV.

- They clearly have ripped off another major manufactures bodywork, Does this sound like something a reputable company would do if they were serious about this sector?
- They currently have shown nothing but a render, they have no product.

More scammy to me right off the bat than anything else, Not interested in following the company at all as a first impression.
