I know us moto guys are cut from a different cloth than most other people. I can't be the only one with very specific moto superstitions, let's hear yours.
Here are a few mine:
1) Left sock on first
2) Left knee brace on first
3) Right boot on first
4) I hate drawing an odd numbered spoon, even if it's #1.

Check PSI before every ride
Top off with T4
Never use a helmet that’s hit the ground
Bike goes on a certain side of the truck
If I get rained out, I don’t go ride somewhere else that weekend
Edited to add: Never say "one more lap".

To hop on with Afterbar: The minute you start saying "one more" you're done. Park it for the day.
Never say one more-lap, moto, I don’t care. Say two more then don’t do the last one.
Right side goes on first.
Red gloves are lucky.
Fist bump the guy next to you on the gate.
There’s so many more I’m gonna remember in time
Sometimes my Dad would have me get all dressed and stretch in the box van on the way to the track so once we arrived I was ready to jump right on the bike and go out. This always made me feel rushed and out of rhythm. Always seemed to ruin the whole day like I just couldn't get in my groove and rode terrible. I liked to get to the track in my street clothes, go walk around the track a bit to check it out, watch some other guys for a few minutes, then go back and get dressed and warmed up. Felt like only then could I really get in the right mindset and have a great day.
Only thing for me is goggles on the left side of the bars, lens up and facing in.
Some black is okay, just not the main color.
Slightly drop and scratch every "new" helmet.
Pit Row
I never say one more lap and I dont even let that thought cross my head when riding. I dont even really decide on when my last lap will be. It sort of just happens naturally now, Ill pull in when it feels right and thats it. Load up and go home.
So much for that, there’s no way I don’t crash this weekend when I say it, I’ll be thinking of vital instead of riding for sure
Left Knee brace first
left boot first
left glove first
gloves on before helmet
get on bike from right side
I bet most guys have a side but don't even think about it!
Always drop a new helmet to put the first scratch in it.
Always put all new gear on and the rub dirt on it.
If I look down and my front number plate is slightly twisted, I have to make sure it’s straight before I can ride.
Never ever say one more lap or one more time.
I have also done: if it’s a struggle to get to the track (truck won’t start, can’t find gear, flat tire, tracks closed) just turn around and go home. But that could just be my laziness.
