Link didnt work for me either. Did he talk about how he is the greatest living American again? You know, because he can ride more then one form of the same sport and do pretty well in both? Because clearly nobody else could do that. Not RC, Bubba, K-dub, RV, Dungey, nope. Just Ricky "ma fuckin" Dietrich. I bet he doesnt even break for fat chicks.

Must underrated top ten guy right now. he needs more coverage the guy is a badass on a motorcycle.

He needs to land a spot on Motosport Canidae kawasaki more MX and SX it would work out perfect for everyone involved.

After his "I really think Im showing that Im the best overall American dirtbiker" comment, he deserves it. Like Ping said (back then) let him show all the Supercrossers whats up at A1 and then he can talk.

All he said was he was the best off-road rider. Which is true, he's the reigning champion.

He never said any of that. I'm the one that did the interview on the RX site that he caught hell for, and the point he was making is that he's really the first guy ever to go from off-road to MX on the professional level.

And he's right.

He's certainly sure of himself, but all racers who are really racers are sure of themselves. The only difference is whether or not they let on that they are.

If he was not sure of himself, he would not be out there.

even the retired pro's I know are still cocky...you have to be in a sport where 40 guys are all charging for 1st place. If you don't have the mindset of being the best, then you will get caught up in the first turn pile-up.

I know Ricky really well, and he's not like some of you guys think (really cocky). He's a down to earth guy and really has gotten a bad wrap from that interview. He's been working really hard and feels confident about his riding and I don't see anything wrong with that. I know he has ton of respect for the East and West coast racers.
