I’ve been watching Supercross since 1977. tonight was the saddest night being a fan that I’ve ever watched. Was it a fluke? Was it the 43 second lap times that put these guys on to a track that was basically so eat up that it was nearly suicidal by the time they got out there in the mains? When you have so much respect for these guys like I do, this was just so hard to watch.

Was the track that bad? Anderson tucked the front and under most circumstances would’ve been fine. Webb and Sexton’s crash had nothing to do with the track conditions. Webb just forgot where he was on the track

Dear lord it’s racing! Nothing that happened would be preventable on any track! It’s sx people crash, it’s the sport and the risk we take every time we twist the throttle. Quit being so soft! Not everything has to be blamed on anything other than shit happens!

I think the track sucked. If it's a small placeake it tech. To slow down the lap times. 10th place was a lap down. 15th on was 2 down

Well, Anderson was pushing too hard and Webb did an uncharacteristic dumb move trying to triple something nobody had tried, while already halfway into the main event...

If you've been a fan in 1977, then you would know that was one of the best Main Events we have seen in a while. I'm sorry that one of your guys made bad decisions tonight.

How was that considered a best main? RC was hyping it up to be a great race but then five minutes later the field imploded. Tomas’s suspension looked so dialed!

If they can’t make laps longer than 45 seconds they need to make everyone race 250s so they can make obstacles out of the corners everyone can’t do. This season just got super boring, 250W one guy can win, 250E one guy can win, 450 maybe down to 2 guys that can win. Hope Eli took out a championship insurance plan out on himself…

It’s racing! Hate that we lost some guys tonight respectfully, but that was awesome racing. Shows everyone is pushing it and shit can go south quick. I liked the flow of this track honestly. Mookie was charging and Eli rode flawless! 2 fastest guys all day and they Finished that way.

The race had nonstop action from gate drop to checkered. I just finished watching it a second time, and that's the first time this year and probably since 2020 that I rewatched main. My heart rate was pumping that entire time. What a night, enjoy it while we have it, ladies and gentlemen

I did not like the track, but it had nothing to do with what happened to those guys. That was just the most bad luck crammed into a few minutes that we have seen in a very long time.

Watched Tomac get a bad start and blow through everything in his path. As his nuts drug behind, they collected the top 3 challengers. Mount Rushmore

The track had nothing to do at all with the spontaneous combustion that blew up that lap. Others already stated the obvious: Cooper tried to make a double into a triple. Anderson was riding way too hard trying to keep up with Eli and lost the front end in an otherwise peaceful looking corner. None of that can be blamed on the track. These guys ride a lot of different surfaces and adjust well. What a crazy main.

I’ll say this… I could be right or I could be wrong. And of course all the keyboard warriors here, tough guys that have never raced A main event in a major race will just blast off, but like I said above, and 40 years of watching this, and racing some back in my day, this was really really hard to watch. I feel so bad for those guys. Lots of season enders right there-Sad

I agree with you about the track. Also wish every SX venue had long left hand starts.

Those guys are sooo f***ing good they usually make it look easy. Tonight just shows how knarly a supercross track really is at the end of the night.

Hah! Yeah, I really dislike the guy I have plastered all over my desktop and office. I call it like I see it, and when people ride over their head, stuff happens.

Having no sand section is clearly to blame for everything that happened this week.

Paul's stupid mistake ruined Sexton. Ando tried running Tomac's speed and paid the price. I do believe it's time for a new track builder. These tracks are boring. Visit 2009 when retired pros like Pastrana and Larocco designed tracks. Those were awesome tracks.

Not much has changed with technology since 1977.

Pretty common sense to see it had nothing to do with the track. Anderson washed the front..Webb tried to triple a section everyone was doubling. Looked like he literally forgot where he was on the track. And sexton hit the proper line and landed on Webb. Not sure about Dylan. Shit happens…it’s sx. Minus AC and Kenny the top guys have stayed in it. Chase is all good so he will be back. I’m assuming Anderson will be back if it’s just a concussion. Yeah it’s sucks having 45 second tracks but these crashes had nothing to do with that. Just shitty luck

The track was good and cannot be blamed for tonights carnage. Webb tried to tripple in against better judgement and Sexton became a vitcim of that outcome. Anderson not content with 2nd was pushing and he Clocked himself. Tomac said the dirt was challenging but not dangerous.

It's racing and riders do slip up at times.

Agreed. Him washing the front could be a result of him trying to push too hard. Obviously you can wash the front end at any given time but it’s easy to see Anderson has been riding that EDGE all year.

It was that guy Justin Anderson's fault.
