Bullying at the tracks, or what the NFL calls “taunting.” It happened last night at Minneapolis and could have been seen by fans.

A couple of 250 riders talking to each other after the race, one of them was unhappy with the other about an on track move. There may have been a throat slit gesture made. Whistling

Go to any local short track stock car race on a Saturday night and then decide if you need to make a poll about this. Shocked

If anything we need some more throat slit gestures with some of the stupid moves being made on the track 😂

There have been some real winners lately. The one about Weege being on camera of his own videos was a good one

We need cognitive assessments to be done to allow people to post here.

I could have sworn people wanted more attitude and less robots in the sport? Now we have it and it’s too scary? Because Phil is really going to physically hurt Austin, but let’s praise Peick for landing blows on Friese’ cervical spine.

That’s not bullying. Even looked like forkner acknowledged he needed to ‘fucking chill’ as Phil said

just my 2 cents but everyone needs to get off the "can't touch anyone" bandwagon. In hockey if a guy pisses us off we run them into the boards hard, sit in the penalty box for 2 mins and that's the end of it. In football you hammer the guy that pissed you off at the next opportunity, might get a flag on the play but probably not. In both these sports the trash talk is ongoing through the whole game (the stuff you don't see unless you actually play.)

Why would SX/MX be any different?

Grinning I don't like that Weege points the camera at himself, but I'll watch... THE WEEGE SHOW.

this sport is the pinnacle of badassmanship.

this sport is beyond any that has ever been in mind of man, the most prominent in devil may care, caution to the wind, man against man.

this term "bullying" it's the product of the weak, the cry of the loser.

euro/american judeo/christian concepts of the meek inheriting the earth. as Nietzsche pointed out. tries to demonize the uberman, and attempts to subject him to the false morality of slavery to those who have no business being in positions of honour.

please move to a "sport" like curling for your sporting pleasures. Leave motocross to the men.

Bullying? Seriously, shut up. Pretty sick of hearing that word used in situations where it doesn’t even make sense.

Bullying...?
Taunting...?

Here's what REALLY is happening there...in long-from:

"Hey, young dude, I love ya...but...this ain't the gawt damn practice track. This is Supercross and we DO NOT PULL STUPID SHIT LIKE THAT; because, we ARE NOT HERE TO KILL EACH OTHER! Got it?"

And, get this, it's being said...and by one of if not THE "Biggest Bad Asses" at the track. Did ya notice how Austin took it and in that moment sorta "owned it"? I did.

Austin's move WAS "Just Racing"; but, it wasn't the smartest or most well-thought-out move.

That's all there is to it.

Now...get this: One of the ABSOLUTE BEST THINGS ABOUT Phil Nocoletti being out her is this very thing...this very situation...ain't NO ONE gonna get away with a Damn Thing when Phil's around. Men are gonna be men and the kids are gonna get schooled. Old Schooled...if they act like a fool in Phil's presence. Hell, they might even learn how to order a proper glass of wine to go with their meal if they listen carefully.

It's not Bullying.
It's Schooling.
Old Schooling.

Phil is the Perfect person for this.

Welcome to The East Coast.

Touché’ Phil. You talk about racing with the kids and their energy and then when it involves you, you whine about it. Sorry, can’t side with you on this one, you knew exactly what you signed up for much the like, moving next to an airport then bitching about planes.

Both examples you used talk about a small penalty or one play of a game. Try and imagine either of those moves you used ends the opponents night. The game is over by that move. Thats what happens in racing. You can completely ruin the guy you tsg’s night. I think the OP was referring to the guy airing the grievance though which is silly to call it bullying.

Some of the comments here though do show it’s all about who is the one doing the slamming vs who is the one complaining about it. Usually the tough guys have the back of the slammer (Forkner here) and would be calling Filthy the pussy for whining about it. Here Phil is the badass because he’s more liked than Forkner. Love those double standards.

Honestly, I think Phil was -helping- Austin with that little coaching session.

Bullying is a pretty ridiculous assessment. He is telling him he has skills he just needs to be cautious and then he is patting him on the shoulder like a pep talk. I'd say Phil's right being Forkner always seems to be his own worst enemy.
