Same ones defending bogles lap down down antics are probably the same ones that got pissed when Wilson wouldn’t get out of the way of Roczen. Talk about picking and choosing.

This time they let it play out. . . But Bogle does not need any more concussions..

I really, really like Bogle and supposedly Barcia nailed him. But you can never, ever retaliate and take out the guy when he is lapping you. That is just unacceptable.

Retaliate in the next race or heat race when you both are on the same lap and race each other.

Completely agree.

I can't believe Bogle didn't get a tougher punishment like a 2-3 race ban. It's just way too easy taking somebody out in SX. And Barcia knows this very well...

It's kinda hard to ignore Bogle laying on the ground...to begin with...and have supporting evidence like this...

From RacerX:

While we don’t have footage of Barcia’s original pass on Bogle, our Steve Matthes interviewed Justin Brayton after the race. Brayton was right behind Barcia and Bogle early and said Barcia was making “gnarly” moves and his pass on Bogle was “not good.” Bogle was then out for revenge.

What I -DO- understand is this: the "retaliatory strike" was potentially VERY dangerous. But, I -also- understand HOW Bogle got to the point that he felt he needed to do "something".

While I cringe at decisions like this, I am fairly stoked in the fact that J-Bone was involved in making the decision & the violations/penalties having a bit of balance to them.

It's the only way Barcia will learn is if people give it back
They're saying Barcia got docked a position for speeding down the side of the whoops. Not because he cleaned out Bogle. Huh

Barcia races the way I do in video games lol. Makes it entertaining but you can’t get bent out of shape when it bites you. Best part is Boogle took him out and he got docked a position.

I can’t get behind Bogle on this…His hearts not in it, he’s more interested in the outfit he’s going to where in the pits and on track walk. I understand him being upset but taking out the points leader goes to show you just how far gone he is from ever being at that level again, zero respect for the 450 points leader.. it’s like Js7 ripping through the pack and knocking into jason Thomas and then Thomas waiting for him to come back around and knocking him down…Bogle should just be grateful to be racing on the same track as these guys. No I’m not a Barcia fan..

How often do you see title contenders repeatedly stir up conflict? Never. There is a reason for this. If you are a legitimate title contender you have far too much to lose. You can not afford to give multiple competing riders a reason to take you down in payback. Unlike Bogle (who was an idiot himself here....), they might just wait till later in the season, when you need every point, and then they blow you off a berm and out of the championship. This is a key reason Barcia will never win a title. He just does not have the self control to take that sort of long view.

If you read Hannahs interview about that race he was paying back Howerton. I was there and Howerton earned that move.

Expecting downvotes, but I genuinely do not understand how people still root for Barcia. What has he done since his 250 title? He's never a legitimate title contender, is never the fastest guy, and just causes issues for everyone else on the track. Dude has been nothing but a hazard for actual competitors ever since 2013. I would get it if he was actually, like, good. But the best he's ever finished in points is 4th last season if I'm not mistaken. So, a decade of being allergic to winning after round 1, creating enemies with other racers, and just an arrogant, cocky guy, and people still root for the guy? Oh yeah I forgot, he has a YouTube channel now, which fixes everything.
Yeah man harsh. 4th fastest guy in the world last season and he should be vanished… he was takin out by a non-factor rapper who’s more concerned about his outfit on track walk than the lines he’s going to be taking during the race. You have a man doing his job making a living and a lost child grasping at straws. Barcias dirty at times, definitely stupid at times but he was the points leader trying to rip through the pack, Bogle can’t understand that and relate with wanting to keep that red plate more than anything in the world? It’s not personal it’s business

Huh? Bogle was just outside the top 10 when he got hit, last I checked that’s a pretty decent position.

I really cannot believe how many of you think it is okay to take out a rider on the lead lap intentionally when you're a lap down. I don't care how hard he hit you that is unacceptable. Especially when no one has even seen the move Barcia put on him.

We all know Barcia is a very aggressive racer but he was fighting his way through the pack after a bad start. And on a cookie cutter follow the leader type track like that, you have to move people sometimes. We saw plenty of aggressive passes Saturday night. Bogle was in the wrong for this and his punishment is completely acceptable. If you want to get back at him do it the next weekend in practice or whenever an opportunity arises at a following round.

Barica is a very DIRTY rider . It's far different from being aggressive rider . He gets such a free pass for riding dirty by alot of fans who just laugh it off . That's Barica style etc . I do think Bogle should of got DQ . But I really don't blame him for doing it . Barica rides like a complete dickhead always has always will . When u ride like that it catches up to you .

I love watching Barcia ride, he has such a sick, wild style but man he makes some dumb moves. He seems to hit people every pass just because he can. I'm with Bogle on this one, Barcia ruined his night so he messed up Barcia's night. They are square now, move on and look forward to next week

Huh? A year ago at this time there was pretty much unanimous praise for the guy and everyone thought he was a changed man now that he was on Gas Gas. Turns out he still makes the same dumbass decisions which result in lapped riders taking you out.

I do like the fact that Barcia not only bought team fried merch but he has also been wearing it. I think I seen him in pictures with t-shirt and hoodie?

What's funny is that if Barcia somehow made it to the final rounds in the hunt for the championship (he won't), you better believe there's a mountain of IOUs that would be getting paid, ensuring he loses anyway.

I'll keep saying it, he deserves every hit he receives. It's been like 10 years of him riding like a dick and he hasnt changed a bit.

He has no choice he's programmed to bam.
