I’ve always been an Arai guy but love the looks of the TLD helmets so was considering getting one. Decided to try one on at the store a couple weeks ago and it felt like hell on my head. Couldn’t believe how uncomfortable. Got the new Arai.

Been wearing a 6d atr-1 in medium. Was thinking of getting a tld. How’s the sizing compare?

I don't remember there being any difference in how my ATR-1 and SE4 fit, they're both super comfortable. No pressure points swapping between either helmet.

Saw the new helmet at performance cycle of Colorado last night, they actually have them for sale. Looks exactly like there D4 Mountain bike helmet but obviously more substantial. Does not look like there is any new protection Technology except for the collarbone protection.

Motorsport had a Thanksgiving day sale for $540 on SE5 carbons, I have been unable to find any kind of review but pulled the trigger. Definitely lighter than my current moto 9 flex and as comfortable as any TLD I've ever strapped up.

What’s the “new” Arai? That thing has been the same since 2014. They are in need of a major overhaul.
