My wife cried at a few especially the buying parts you aren’t fast enough to use because you can afford them now 😂

"You can only be young once, but you can be stupid forever."

That may be the truest thing I've read, and it applies to me as well.

(53) If a Vet racer needs to stand up, he waits for a bump to come along and bounce him up to his feet.

I've had to use that technique since the 80s........... Blush

When an over 60 racer brags about getting lucky last night , it means he didn’t have to wake up and take a piss.

“A vet racer can afford all the hop-up parts he wanted as a kid, but can use them anymore.”

This is why I’ve spent so much money at a young age. I know what’s coming.

Glad they didn’t tell me about this when I was younger 😁. But then again , I usually get to wake up when I want to , and am still young enough to enjoy the quiver of current model bikes that my pension and understanding wife have allowed 😎

Oh but you’ll still spend more. I know 50 year olds with 3 sets of A kit forks in the novice class. And about 20 sets of tires. I’m looking forward to it 😂 my wife not so much.

When asked by a +25 vet, so how long have you been racing? I replied " when I started racing, the Dead Sea was only sick.

"I’m 62. I rode today"

Sounds like a compulsory confession at the beginning of a motocrosser's anonymous meeting.
