Has anybody tried the new FlexFix bar mount from Xtrig?
I've seen a few pros (e.g. AC) run it, but can't find a review or something.

I've been running the PHDS for years, but I have problems with numb fingers from vibration through the handlebars and was wondering if the new mount could help with that.

I like to have a direct input and precise steering and just want to get rid of the vibration.
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
And if that doesn't help, try out the Pro Taper EVO bar. It's supposed to be one of the best bars on the market regarding limiting vibration/harshness.
I actually would like to have a bar mount that provides a precise feel. I just want to get rid of most of the vibration. I know that that's probably not possible altogether but the design of the flexfix just makes sense to me.
Can you feel a difference in vibration dampening between the PHDS and the FlexFit or is it a overall stiffer feel in comparison?
I gonna try the FlexFix!
Beyond that though, have you been checked for carpal tunnel? I know that’s what causes mine at the root of it
I went with the phds oem bar mounts. Feels tighter in the steering but definitely a noticeable difference in vibration and impact absorption.
Really wish Xtrig would make oem type flex fit mounts, they seem like they’d be amazing at vibration absorption even more.
Plus there’s different elastomers you can change out on the Xtrig. It’s a very different feel than stock. Otherwise I’d just sell them.
Pit Row
The PHDS clamps handle big hits better, for example if you overshoot something or ride into a sharp edge. Other than that they feel the same, if it's more comfort for your hands/arms you are looking for the PHDS clamps are better IMO.
X-Rig makes clamps and they also make the PHDS bar mounts. But the clamps aren’t going to help with vibration

Or try some twisted engineering carbon bars, if the inserts aren’t what you’re looking for.

A combo of being tired and not having english as my first language
I've been experimenting with Twisted Engeineering bars in PHDS mounts (with green elastomers) vs. MAKO 360 with OEM Yamaha Pro Taper bars versus Neken SFS clamps with OEM Yamaha Pro Tapers versus FasstCo Flaxxbars in Scotts billet clamps with rubber cones. These are on 4 different bikes, so I can compare them back-to-back.
If numbness is your issue, I think MAKO 360 mounts are the ticket.
I have not experimented with grips much because I get arm pump from larger diameter grips. I learned a long time ago I need full diamond pattern to minimize the diameter. I currently run ODI V2s. Clamp-on grips are nice and easy to experiment with, so I will try some Pro Tapers as mentioned above.
