I just don’t understand how People can wish bad on Haiden? Brian has been nothing but gracious in leading their program, the kid has never shown to be a fucking idiot, he’s Uber talented, yes, the reason everybody hates him is because he’s got all the opportunities, but he does because his dad is clever and he is super fast. Brian has dropped all of who he was to do the best for his children and put everything into being a dad supporting his kid to do well. What am I missing here? Can’t we just celebrate an Uber talented kid? Don’t forget, Brian came from nothing and no money in Nebraska, this program came from hard work, smarts and talent.

Amen.

Even better that he has a rivalry with another legit talent.

The future is bright.

Who hates the kid? I haven't seen anything that insinuates that hate Haiden or wish bad on him. But I have seen people hate on his Dad and talk smack about supposed race class strategies but that will never go away. We should all be stoked we have two fast American boys to root for in the years ahead. Both of them are the real deal.

The kid is awesome to watch. Big things ahead. There will always be people who have something negative to say, no big deal. I’m sure his dad has filled him in on that. My only complaint is the word “Uber” to describe anything. Ughhhh.

He wears beanies when it’s 100 degrees outside, that’s the only reason I can find to hate on him. Otherwise I think him and the content he puts out is great.

“Hate” is a powerful word. I haven’t seen a single example of someone hating on Haiden.

However I can see why some people might favour his competitors.
The Deegan program is a little, ‘in ya face’, brash, dare I say, narcissistic? But I guess that’s the business end of being an athlete- something I’ve never had to deal with.

Some people prefer to fly under the radar without the attention.

I get a WWE vibe In a way from that whole crew but to each their own. I respect that everyone is different And want to see him do well even though I don’t really like the “style”

He’ll race Ryder D fur sure tho, but only when it’s time

I like the Deegan’s (don’t follow any of the social stuff but Brian has always been cool to me) and am pumped that Haiden is such a talent. Zero hate and I wish him all the success he earns. That said, I’m also a fan of underdogs upsetting the apple cart. It’s like with the Alessi brothers. I met both when they were kids and have always liked both. That didn’t mean I didn’t also enjoy seeing a guy like RV go on to become one of the best we’ve ever seen after getting worked by Mike in the amateurs. I thought it was great. It didn’t mean I stopped wanting to see Mike and Jeff do well. I think we should embrace all the talent we have on the horizon because I’d love to see the Nationals become the premiere series again. We need some monsters to push each other to be great if we want to catch the GP’s.

It's pathetic, being a dad in Brian's position he's going to give the best he can for his kid to succeed, what's wrong with that? Everyone else would do the same for their child.

What brian has done for haiden is teach him to have work ethic that kid works his ass off to be the best and it's clear his is very determined to do so, that's a pretty rare trait to have being a "rich kid".

Having everything given to you on a platter doesn't equal success you have to apply yourself, look at his younger brother he doesn't really have the same drive and the results speak for themselve.

Anyway, I'm sure Brian has told his son that there will be a lot of haters.

A lot of guys just don't like Brian, so there's a trickle down effect. Plus Haiden got caught cheating, cut the track, whines on social media and often rides like a jerk. I don't think too many people hate the kid, but there's a whole lot who arent really fans either.

Problem about all this hard work has been Brian's cheating on Haiden's behalf.

How can you back your son and be a good dad while organising illegal engines - that you then force your son to bullshit about- ie Loretta's years ago : "the fill in mechanic fitted the fat top end we accidentally had lying in the race spares".

What message is that for a tyke? It tells the boy his dad doesn't think he is good enough to win on merit.

Ditto the back track to minibikes in 2021 when the opposition looks mean.

HD rides like a dick sometimes but I like the edge he rides with. I think he needs to embrace the villain like his dad did. We need another jlaw just not as crazy.

dude you have a major stick in your ass over HD, and it's coming off really cringe. Also, lots of people ride a bike bigger than the one they race for training, IE when you are going to race 65's, still get some training in on an 85 so you can get used to pushing faster. Same with 85 > supermini and supermini > 125.

The internet moto fan contingent (a social media comment column under a racer x article) and moto fan contingents (the beer line at the nationals) are two different groups. If you just ignore the internet side for the most part, moto improves immediately.

With that being said, I will concede that the YouTuber mentality, the thumbnails, and a family that seemingly can't do anything without having a camera pointed at them can be a bit annoying for people who don't live in their cellphones, but shitting on a kid is just tacky, regardless.

Ya know the beautiful thing about motocross is that there is no faking it. Either you can ride or you can't. Once riders strap on a helmet I don't give three shits about personality or whether they came from dirt or millions, whether they are super cool or knobs personality wise. The proof is in the results Cool

Remember of course, the hate you've seen or sensed was, I assume, expressed online. The interweb seems to have redefined hate or perhaps reinvented it.

The good thing is, the poster's expressed "hate" in the most part, remains online, their "body of work" can be viewed.

You can then see if their words matter at all, you can choose to call them out or move on.

Mostly it's best to move on.

Again I haven't seen any or many people hate the kid?

He got the job done in an impressive fashion yesterday, and I can't imagine it surprised anyone, more power to him, but personally I'd be happy to see Cochrane on the top step.

I can see why some people would be jealous, he's living the dream and has the resources and talent to keep doing it, and that rubs people who aren't comfortable or confident in themselves the wrong way, and they lash out, but aside from that you just have to accept that (without any hate being involved) not everyone likes everyone and there are a few things personality or actions wise that people may not like from the Deegan camp.

Just like there are many things there you should like, like a Dad giving his son all the opportunities and support he can and a kid working hard and kicking ass.

Hate? Nah, not even a little bit. Would prefer an alternate winner at Loretta's? Honestly, yeah, just my personal choice.

Yep, like some have said, most of it is jealousy!

I don't think everyone has to like him or praise him, but to be a kid there has been and continues to be a lot of negative comments coming from grown adults about him....

I don't think he is the Stew by any means but you have to give Brian and the entire family big props for making a living out of the life I'd say 99% of the moto world would LOVE TO BE LIVING!

I give Brian huge props for the empire he has built with his hands and he is trying to build a bigger one for his kids, total admiration for that!!!!

That there is a real answer, any of them getting out there and doing something should be commended really, fair enough man

I still don’t understand why anyone outside family follow amateur racing so closely. Let them be kids then scrutinize them and talk shit all you want when/if they turn pro.
