Looking forward to seeing him this weekend...

However, not looking forward to the sound of air horns and chainsaws (especially during rider interviews) Angry

Who watches the podium speeches? It’s essentially the same thing everytime. . . Bring on the whoop monster!

We attended last year. 10 portapotties for 10,000 people. Piss and shit running out the doors by 2nd motos. 6 and 8yr old daughters had to piss in the woods in view of men. The martins don’t give a shit about fans, Website even says air conditioned bathrooms. Pure lies. Great track. Great race. Worst fan experience.

Are you sure you're not talking about the track just down the road from Spring Creek? The perma-potties are a little hard to miss.

Roczen in 2016 could pass as the "Whoop Monster" after those phenomenal first two laps.
Rewatched this yesterday and still in awe.

Hoping to see the Whoop Monster with the euro-style chainsaw again this year. Cool

My Whoop monster story : back when the National came back to Lakewood's Thunder Valley in the early 1990s the whoop monster wanted to come out if we bought him a round trip airline ticket, hotel room close to the track, ATV to ride around the track and meals. Needless to say his offer was declined. Laughing

Those chainsaws are freaking awesome! I’ve never been fortunate enough to be at a national but when I can hear things like chainsaws and horns and screaming drunks through the tv it makes me feel like I’m there!

Isn’t he the guy who collects money all weekend and gives it to a privateer? If so all right dude in my book

Growing up and going to Millville, I was more disappointed if the whoop monster wasn't there. MN legend. I'm going to stock up air horns before this weekend...

He’s just a mascot for the track, not a bizarre concept really. Unique to moto but that’s what makes it fun. The dude must be sweating like crazy standing in the sun in all that gear all day so I respect that.

The one time I had an interaction with him for a photo, he was handing out stuffed animals and little toys to the kids that came up to him. Seemed like a good dude.

I believe the low amt of porta potties was due to covid. I had heard that with events "not technically supposed to be going on" the companies were limited to how many they could rent out.

There are two A.C bathroom facilities, as you walk towards the track from the camping area there is one on the camping area side of the creek just before the walking bridge, and the other is to the right after crossing that bridge.

South Africa has a problem with these blady things....locally called a Vuvuzela.

You cannot imagine the cacophony of noise these things put out until you experience it live....thank god our motofans here are civil.
