I run pink & green ones on my 07 KX250

like others said I took a rock to my knuckle when I first started racing and just run them pretty much all the time now. They are there for protection from roost more than anything.

After riding trails, proper hand guards are great for moto. You don't have to go back to the truck and wrench for a half hour wasting money on grips/levers/tube just because you tipped over.

I dunno about pinch point, but if you're the guy that goes full death grip on every crash, they can break your wrists.

I have had them on all my sons bikes over the years. I had them on my stuff as an adult, but not when I was young.

In my opinion they are more dangerous in a crash in a lot of ways.

If you want to avoid that and still have some stout protection check out the SXS Burly Guards. Couple different ways to mount them depending if you have an Austrian bike or not. Go to most any race in the Pacific Northwest and it's basically a parade of Burly Guards, super legit product. Made in the USA as a cherry on top.

Hand guards are cool.

I’ve run roost guards and bark busters on moto tracks and there is no difference as far as bike performance 😂 that’s the silliest thing I’ve ever heard.
