If it wasnt for Shimoda, ,PC would be dead in the water.

Sorry state of affairs really.

I was thinking about that during the second 250 moto.

Lets say Forkner would've been doing these kind of results whilst being the top paid rider in the class during the heyday of PC. Would we see him back at PC for the next season? I don't think so. Mitch would've moved on.

As for Forkner, he definitely needs to make massive changes to his program after this season. I would assume that Mitch is going to demand it.

I agree, but part of that is down to the fact that PC doesnt get the first pick of the riders how they used to .. Geico and Star are far better places to be.

When you look at the calibre of guys they used to have, and now this, maybe Mitch needs to hire J Mart or Hampshire to at least get the green bikes back up front.

Hammaker and McAdoo are decent, but not team leader decent IMO, and Forkner is rapidly becoming the new AC, but minus any of the redeeming features.

Hey, the kid might just be over 250's , you can only ride on the ragged edge, day in day out for so long, but i dont see a 450 team wanting to take the risk.

True, that is on Mitch. I also don't understand why he has stopped signing top MX2 riders. He missed out on Ferrandis that wanted to race for him, he missed out on the Lawrence brothers when even Stevie Wonder could see they were special (way before Geico came for them).

Because he dont want to pay for them. It was a time when Mitch had the best bikes out there and all the riders would kill to ride for him.

Now days when we have 4 different bikes (counting the austrian bikes as one instead of 3) that all are on some what of a equal level and teams that are willing to pay for the top riders all Mitch can do is either start paying for top riders or just settle for this.

Who really gives a shit? Don’t we watch these guys for the dirt bike racing? Not sure about you, but I don’t typically get wrapped up in liking or disliking kids because of their personality, seeing as how we don’t actually know them. So many weirdos on here who love to hate on kids out there living their dream.

Forkner is 23 or maybe even 24 years old. He’s not a kid.

He’s two months from being 23. Do you consider a kid to be 23 years old? It wasn’t in then and 23 doesn’t make you a kid now.

And considering this being a young mans sport, he’s considered a “veteran” now. Regardless if you think he’s a kid or not.

Agree to disagree. He’s 22 years old. Still has the maturity level of a kid in my opinion. I’m 36 and I consider him a kid. Lots of learning left for him.

He would ageing out of MX2 here in the GP's.
And he has still to win anything, when you have 2 shots a year at it, and half of those shots are only against half the riders . Honestly, of you cant even win a half series , in this time frame, at what point do you say 'enough'.

I still think the injury last year in Salt Lake had a huge impact on him and he may not get over it. If that's not the issue, I think he should change everything. Move to FL or CA, new trainer, new program, and commit to 22 being back where he was. Nothing against Reynard and I have no clue about the program, but it's like if the diet you are on is causing you to gain weight, change the diet.

I'm guessing being with a chick who dated a starting NFL quarterback can be a bit time consuming.

Not entirely sure if she was actually dating Justin Herbert but there was some pictures floating around of those two.

I can't help but wonder if all the injuries are taking a toll on him mentally, and having them all so close together. Seems like every time he gets on a bike he wrecks and gets injured.

It's been talked about on Pulp a lot and I agree with Matthes...Forkner needs to make some major changes. I don't think it's an issue with the bike or team but perhaps leaving Reynard's training program would be a big help. Not that Reynard is a bad trainer but a change of scenery could help. Wither it be going to MTF, Baker, NYK....just somewhere different and practicing with other riders.

I'm not going to get into the whole girlfriend thing but whatever it may be he seems to be mentally off track. Now with his crash at Southwick it looked like he really re-aggravated the thumb injury so I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled the plug on this outdoor season soon. His results aren't improving, still making dumb mistakes, and overall just looks like a totally different rider than a year ago. People can hate on him all they want but there's no doubt he has lots of talent and the skill to be winning titles....something has to change and I'm hoping he turns it around.

Guys be serious here. The man is railing a Monster girl, getting paid to go to the gym and riding factory level dirt bikes instead of working 70hr/wk like us. I’d call that winning at life.

You really think that being a factory rider is just "heaven" all the time? I can bet you that forkner is not in a good place right now.. HUGE pressure to perform, having really bad motos, thinking and worrying about his future. I wouldnt want to be in his shoes right know. Monster girl or not....

But that standard is set by the team you are on , and the money you get paid.

McElrath is another one, never managed to seal the deal , for whatever reason, and while i know everyone cant win, , there are 3 champions a year, thats enough rolls of the dice.

That man is railing a Monster girl who told everyone on social media that she rather had a "real man", wow what an accomplishment, even looks don't make up for that.

That was a bad one. Hard impact to rip your hand off the bars. The head snap looked bad too. Looked like he tried to ride it out until the front end dropped.

You're in the minority not caring if these guys have any personality. Who said anything about hating any of them either. You can not be a fan doesn't mean you hate them. 23 isn't a kid either

Your brain hasn’t fully developed until 25, including the most important circuits for reasoning. It’s why car insurance considers you a kid until you’re 25.

I enjoy the riders with personality and chalk up the dudes like Forker to immaturity and naïveté. He will learn, or he won’t and someone great will take his place.

I think others are right Mitch doesn’t have the fastest bikes anymore, and he doesn’t pay top dollar. You have to do one or both to have a championship caliber rider. He got lucky AC has always been on green.

I think he should sit out. He has to be injured a bit. He should get some rest, heal up and come out swinging for SX. Bouncing off the ground with a injury will get him seriously hurt again.
