Cool Jett Lawrence story from high point

As if Jett wasn’t already a huge fan favorite here’s what happened yesterday. I was in staging for my moto.... they pull everyone off the track and some camera crews come down to the track to film Jett ride. I’m assuming for a high point intro for today’s broadcast.???? Anyways they wanted Jett to do a few starts for the video. Jett looks at the riders on the gate then tells the camera crew. “Let’s move over to the side a little bit I don’t want to mess up these guys start line” it wasn’t much, but for a young kid to have that much respect for some riders on amateur day was impressive to me. good luck today Jett!

Jett seems to really "get it" this year. He seemed maybe just a tad immature last year at times (I realize he is just a kid) but his podium interviews and his racecraft this year really show the budding superstar he might become. I can't wait to see just how good he gets Smile

This kid made me a fan. The way he conducts himself on and off the track has been impressive.

I sat behind him and Hunter on the flight back from Denver a few weeks back. When we got off the flight I talked to them both for a few mins and I was really impressed how nice and genuine they were. Super good dudes!

Besides his comments on MM, he has shown a much more mature guy this season. He seems like a great kid.

Yeah, TV time right in the middle of an exciting moto with numerous battles going on. Not Jett's fault but I couldn't believe they did it again this race. Last race they switched to a KR promotional piece in the middle of a heated race. The producers should be fired or forced to watch 100 hours of MXGP broadcasts in one sitting.
