The rounds he was there, he was way faster than DF14 though

If your aunt with balls was better than DF I’d say she deserved ROTY over him too

Given that Dylan had very similar results on those rounds and outscored him by nearly 80 points, I'm inclined to say it was rightly earned.

Can't really expect to win anything if you get carted off the track multiple times in one season
Sexton will be solid next year but DF definitely owned this one.

I just checked the results, and even not accounting for all of Chace's missed races while Dylan hit every round, head-to-head, Chase only slightly edged Dylan: Five times Dylan was the faster of the two, six times Chase.

All that matters is the final series points standings. Dylan finished 7th. Sexton finished 12th.

People said the same thing last year when Davlos got it over AC.

I think Rookie of the Year is based strictly on points standings, so Ferrandis is the rightful winner, even though I think Sexton had a better season.

It's rookie of the year not rookie of afew races but Dylan isn't a rookie and has raced 450 supercross in France for years

How much do you win for getting ROTY? Regardless, I’m sure Chase has many plaques, he’ll be ok.

Look forward to those two(Dylan /
Chase) lining up for the Nationals and next season’s SX. 👍

Is this actually how they choose?

When it’s your rookie season and you already know you’re going to need all the time in the 250 class you can get. #BooCrew

Yup. That's how Hammaker got it for 250E, even though Thrasher had more wins.

Gotta finish races to count. To finish first, first you must finish.
