Cooper needs to finish 19th or better? I don't see any way of that not happening even if he starts dead last or crashes on the first lap. KTM doesn't need to do anything except celebrate.

Kudos to Boomslang and dirtworldmx - kind, succinct and spot on posts. No vitriol and no b.s.
Thank you Johnny, that's how forums should work, with that said, I'm half pissed but I'm in South Africa, so i'll catch a sleep now and wake up at the Ungodly hour to watch the SX live.

A monumental thanks to "you know who"

Reminder: Free Practice starts at 8:30pm your time with the races starting at 4am.

Don't be surprised if Webb comes out swinging and wins the race. My prediction is one of 2 things happens, Coop get s a good start, gets out front early and wins, or he gets an ok start, rides a good race and ends up 5-8, winning the championship by a healthy margin. I don't see any scenario where Webb finishes worse than 10th, even if he goes down in the first turn.

For sure yes. If there is a mathematical chance at a Championship they'll have jerseys printed.

Ps. The Crux of the matter is how they dispose of them jerseys if they don't win it.
Send the jersey to BobPa.

Do you think the big orange conglomerate has any backup plans tomorrow night to seal the championship? Coop needs a 19th or better for the title. Would they go as far as having Savatgy, Anderson, Moosecan, Wilson, and Barcia qualify, then have three of them pull off as soon as the gate drops?

Think they could pull a fast one as follows. Have any combination of the aforementioned riders run illegal fuel. If for some reason Coop does not get the 19th place have Gas Gas or Husky protest and have 3 of their riders DQ'd...Could they even protest one another?

Think they have a backup plan? I bet there was a meeting at the orange rig this week discussing all the different scenarios.

Wasn't it in NJ a few years back where I watched Marvin "pull over" for Ryan...?
I don't think I've EVER seen Mathilde SOOOO PISSED OFF. Ever.

Well, anyways, after that debacle, I don't think there's ANYTHING un-reasonable about Bob's question.

Here's my response: If Cooper ends up on the ground during the main? Well, it's 25 points from 1st to last...so, I'm not gonna be foolish enough to think...for ONE SECOND...that there's not a "contingency plan"...

But, hey, what do I know? Grinning

Bob you’re talking some serious too organized kinda shit. Nobody thinking about that. Humans aren’t that smart anyway.

Team tactics is, hey coop qualify 40th. Then get 9th in the heat. And 19th in the main. Pizza and beers to follow. Oh btw...We got your shirt to wear backwards already printed up...

If last week's race didn't prove once and for all that there are no team orders at KTM, then I don't know what will.

This thread kind of reminds me of when I suggested the idea that Tomac could "bunch 'em up" in Vegas....

Anyway, if Webb went down and was in last place and KR was winning in the second half of the main don't think for a second something won't happen to one of the KTM boys. Pull in for a mechanical?? Ride very slow and keep looking down at the bike?? Wash the front end?? This is the championship we are talking about ladies.

Anything is possible but I see Webb either winning it tonight or playing it safe for a 3-6th place if he gets buried on the start.

Right? I know my example scenarios are a bit off the wall...But I bet there is some kind of plan in place, Team Green knows what's up.
